@jiujitsufighter123 Don't get Bassani exhaust. Their exhaust system has BAD drone and is not loud enough to compensate its flaw, from what I hear. Get the ATAK. Loudest system available, maybe besides Roush, which is cheaper, but also has lots of drone and is too high-pitched for me.

im actually not happy with my atak axleback anymore. the sound was really nice while inside my mustang, but after hearing it in person as someone else was driving my car i understood why everyone started comparing my stang to a ricer. =[ maybe something is wrong with my borla's but mine sound really high pitched.

Does these systems has resonators? While this IMO the best sounding V6 systems I heard so far the popping during revs are worse than the systems for the 5.0 Mustangs. I like the touring exhaust the best. I don't know if I can take the noise level of the other two on a daily driver.

So far Borlas are the only pipes I've heard that don't make the v6 sound like a ricer.

Flowmaster and magnaflow really dropped the ball on this one.

I wouldn't mind picking up some touring pipes since I like to keep my pony in sleeper mode.

I think the touring sounds the best...lowest pitch sound at low and higher rpms. The other two just sound kind of ricey and high pitched, so with the touring exhaust and a cold air intake this mustang could sound sweet for a v6

@chevydomination if you like the droning chambered sound better than straight thru rumble, that's a matter of opinion. But every dyno test out there shows flowmasters might give you 1-2 horsepower over stock, compared to straight thru designs like magnaflow and borla you normally get 9-11 hp or in some rare applications close to 20. But exhaust sound is all in the ear of the listener. I prefer this borla or magnaflow.

Secondly, the reason behind the TOURING exhaust is for people like me that would like to add this modification onto others, like headers and an off-road x-pipe. With the ATAK or S-Type, it would sound very raspy and a high note; maybe even TOO loud. With the TOURING exhaust among these other modifications, it would bring out that note and make it about twice to three times as loud. Imagine that sound flying by you...

@Buick97Custom honestly its impossible to get it to sound like this even they're both ford v6s and very similar displacement (3.7,3.8) your engine is a 2 valve per cyl singlecam in block pushrod wherethe 3.7 is a DOHC 4 valve, i would search youtube for 98 and earlier 3.8 mustangs and listen to different exhaust until you find something you like.
