Why are people comparing the Kronos to the PC3? The Kronos is a workstation, and technically speaking the PC3 is considered a performance controller. A sound pallet gap between the two is to be expected. As far as bread&butter and a few other sounds go, the PC3 is VERY well equipped. Most people that knock it have NEVER played it or even seen one for that matter. Compare apples to apples.
As a long time Korg T3 user (3 years+) and Korg M1 VST user (+2 years) I know how important it is with good sounds. Well guess what: If I can get a Korg Kronos then I would put together a bank of 250 patches for Korg Kronos which defines my style. Want to hear me? Check my stuff out on Spotify. Hey man you might consider the Kronos so special to create your Hiper Mega Master Plus beat rhythm and also for other applications .... I have not yet heard the Kronos real Strings l but do not believe that he wins and orchestrations of a Kurzweil
@attilagregory that may be true but, I dont think anybody would trade a kronos for Kurzweil. I know ur point was strings but, I could live with strings 2nd to Kurzweil

Korg, just a question...how possible is it to send a young aspiring musician, such as myself, a Korg Kronos simply for the good of it? You know, out of the goodness of your heart and to support young producers. Because, sweet goodness this thing is beautiful, but soooooo far out of my price range.
