  • comparing f1 and nascar, is like comparing apples and oranges, but, both are the pinnacle of their style of racing, other than that, they are TOTALLY different. It's getting old

  • Nascar and f1 are for sissies! Real men Rally!!

  • NASCAR road course races are actually pretty entertaining to watch. Watching them fight for position at Monaco? I'd tune in.

  • Both forms of racing each have their sort of charm to it, if I want to watch a well timed and executed technical pass, I'll watch F1, but if I want to see horsepower and oval overtaking, I'll watch NASCAR, I'm a dirt fan anyways, so it doesn't matter at all to me...thats where the real skill is.

  • Oh gosh not another video game upload..

  • nascar race at monaco

    would be something

    43 cars on that track

  • what game is this???????????

  • I like to compare Nascar stock cars to an f1 car like a baseball bat, you warm up with extra weight on the bat but when you take it off and go up to the plate it will feel easier to swing it, and thats why Nascar is harder and history proves it with F1 drivers coming to nascar and not doing that good

  • @vikingnation100 Beside Juan Pablo Montoya hes always a contender

  • @MrPhilliesfan18 sometimes, but he not a consistent contender, not a real threat to anybody

  • @vikingnation100 No, a NASCAR driver has never came to F1, I wonder why? :L

  • @MultiJimmyHenry why would u want to in F1 u barely pass so ur mainly just riding around, and in NASCAR there is passing going on 24/7

  • @vikingnation100 Yes in a circle, admitedly there are a few road circuits. Not many though :S F1 is too technical for a NASCAR driver!

  • @MultiJimmyHenry if anything NASCAR is too technical for F1 drivers, because so many things go into NASCAR that the drivers and crew have to work on throughout the whole race by hand, and not be able to adjust your car with a computer and make it a car that does whatever you want it too, F1 has more technology, but both of them stand in a different class

  • @vikingnation100 No. Anyhow I'm not arguing I like both :)

  • All the glory given to F1 drivers, why haven't the F1 guys who have tried NASCAR blown away the field? Villeneuve is an ex-F1 CHAMPION! He can't even make the field in NASCAR. These guys are specialists. F1 guys are the best in their field, but that don't make them the best in anything else. The F1 cars are the highest tech, but the drivers are just drivers. And for all the baloney about a lifetime of bitter training, most of them got their rides by buying them with sponsor money.

  • wow nascar is dull ,, like most americans..

  • @shitmacher At least NASCAR doesn't have the same guy winning over and over, like f1. How about somebody other than Vettel win?

  • Jeff Gordon: Oh Shit RIGHT TURN AHEAD!

  • @lightmaster275 NASCAR do these courses too, so get ur facts rite pal

  • @BigDaveNeg Watkins glen isn't as tight as monaco

  • 1:25 yeah... because nascars are that agile.

3000lbs of steel cant just whip through a chicane like that u know.

  • good driving. but gay track and a shitty game

  • Ever since I was little, whenever i think of F1, I think of the long tunnel at Monaco. Such a great symbol of F1 and racing in general... and it looks really cool too! lol

  • Oh wow, how wide do you want to make the track?

  • 1:25 - 1:27

    Enough said:)

  • that nascar car has a similar behavior of a f1 car!, that's so stupid

  • Oh come on, don't be like those flight sim assholes. Preface your video title with "rFactor".

  • Left turn, left turn, we gotta another wide left turn.....

    NASCAR sucks

  • Stfu.. Look at this list Good stuff about Nascar: Excitng racing, anywhere on the field A lot of passes Good Stuff about F1: Cool tracks Modren Cars Better passing Bad Stuff about Nascar: After 2003, the series hurdled downhill. Some fans still want Rockighnham back. Some no life fat overweight kids go on youtube and annoy us older NASCAR fans who do have lifes.. Bad stuff about F1: Hard to find closing racing, their were only 21 lead changes in the 1988 in the 1988 Daytona 500, their was 26
  • F1 & Nascar should switch tracks for a day.

F1 goes to Daytona or Talladega to race on the large oval and Nascar goes to a Silverstone or Nurimburingring

  • @ToroRosso20 It would be cool to have nascar race on a formula 1 circuit or an australian v8 supercars circuit. its nurburgring also lol.

  • monaco would wreck a nascar transmission like none other

  • You forgot to put *Videogame* on the title.

  • It would be awesome if NASCAR actually raced at Monaco, we need more road courses in NASCAR... and less fans that bitch and moan about road course races lol.

  • were can i buy this at and play? i got to know

  • @strachanINC google rfactor

  • Lol, you're a shitty driver.

  • This will be possible in Gran Turismo 5 also :) . Nascar does a few road circuits every year but they should expand it to 6 circuits a year and pick up racing at Laguna Seca

  • classical music has it's moments; bach, beethoven, mozzart. F1 has it's moments too. I happen to love eddie van halen's guitar tone and playing and songwriting. I happen to love nascar too. eddie was a classical piano genius when he was young. i'm not a jazz snob or classical snob or metal snob...i like em all.

  • F1 and NASCAR are loved for two reasons, the one in common is ability you need to drive them at such a high level. F1's other reason is the high speed, high g-force racing, Nascar's other is that the drivers are so evenly matched that any one of the 43 that start can win, making it almost unpredictable. I agree that you can't compare them, but this hating is just pointless

  • @RMPW1994 No they arent evenly matched and there arent 43 drivers capable of winning any race, get a grip. In the end it boils down to Hendrick, Roush, Joe gibbs, Penske, RCR and some wildcards get victories here and there like this year with Jamie mac and Ryan Newman. the fact that the same teams and drivers win 95% of the races in Nascar is comparable to formula 1 with Ferrari, mclaren, red bull winning all of the races thats about the only thing thats similar between the two.

  • this is one of those tracks I'd love to see Nascar race on.

  • great graphics . . . it's an issue of whether a NASCAR stock car is a mach to an F1 car but how will a NASCAR stock car do in the tight twists & turns of Monaco . . . sure they ran at Watkins Glen home of F1 in the 70's but what about Monaco? it'd be great if one of these cars were to do an exhibition lap in front of the whole F1 grid & paddock maybe Villeneuve or Montoya at the wheel or maybe Kyle Busch or even Danica . . . could show Lewis & Jenson what a woman could do . . .

  • What the heck this must be fake because the NASCAR took a right hand turn.

  • @MANUALmobile haha good one!

  • Put a Micheal Schumacher Mercedes at Talladega. That would be awesome.

  • I bet it takes more skill to drive a nascar around there than an f1 car

  • and even more skill to drive a bulldozer.

  • HA! The g's pulled by an F1 car would kill most of those overweight hillbillies. I love how idiots like you who know absolutely NOTHING about racing get on here and spout off about how great nascar is. Nascar is a joke.,,,end of story.

  • yeah its real hard to drive something that has so much grip, rather than a heavy 2 ton stock car. F1 is boring anyways all there good at is single file racing, why do you think JPM sucks, he cant race side by side, the only open wheel racing thats exciting is indy car, and thats only on the ovals

  • My god, that is the most retarded comment I've ever seen on here. You are exactly the reason why people think we Americans are idiots when it comes to motorsports. Have fun watching your slow, heavy nascrap cars go around in circles that are driven by rejects from REAL series like F1. And by the way, oval-racing is what RUINED indycar. But I wouldn't expect you to understand that... idiot.

  • I dont see how liking side by side racing makes me an idiot. Im not saying it takes no skill, Im sher its very hard, and a nascar probably would take 3 or 4 years to get use to it. But its the same thing for nascar too. I would get more satisfaction driving a heavy race car than a light one that stops on a dime

  • Have you seen montoya in F1 in 2001 dick head

  • @cottylfc1 shut up douchebag

  • @MrHumerousify hahahahahaha you dont know nothing about f1 stick with your V8 supercars

  • @cottylfc1 i know..ur a jealius stucked up butch,u kknow nthing but shit...go play with ur tricycle suits u hahaha

  • @MrHumerousify I know more than you stupid interbread idiot id rather play with my tricycle suit than play with my gimp suit

  • actually u dont know me,and what's havin americans in f1 anyways..at least an australian like mark webber can win a f1 race...how bout americans now, like nothing except andretti who's family are losers of competing a race haha,ur a jealous hate.go play ur tricycle boy bye haha

  • @MrHumerousify hahhaahahaah yerrr english can win hamilton button ? dickhead and am not american

  • How many "overweight hillbillies" do you know that race Nascar? I guess it's you that doesn't know about racing considering more than half of the drivers today don't come from the south. Nascar's such a "joke" that open wheel drivers are flocking to it to try to earn a decent paycheck. And most fail to place in the top twenty and still make more than if they ran open wheel and placed in the top ten.

  • it does

  • I'm not comparing anything but, a Nascar on the streets of Monaco just doesn't look right!

  • A nascar on Monaco just isn't as elegant lol

  • I see here some people comparing F1 and Nascar... well I can tell one thing about those whose did it: YOU GUYS KNOW NOTHING ABOUT RACING!!!!

They are too different, how the hell you could compare F1 and Nascar? Oh God... please tell me it was a joke... -.-"

  • @Willbrse they both have 4 wheels

  • Stop comparing NASCAR and F1-they are totally different. I, personally, like every form of racing (even though I prefer some to others), but it all boils down to one thing-racing. I don't care if u don't like NASCAR or you don't like F1, to say that they all out "suck" or are "boring" is your opinion. IMO I think that if you are a true fan of racing, you can appreciate both, even though you don't have to like both.

  • @wawwwaaa Yes Nascar isnt comparable to Formula 1 it will always come out on the losing end of arguements but like you said if you are a fan of racing you respect all forms of motorsports.

  • Dude, I love F1 and Nascar but that simply isn't true. An F1 car would destroy a Nascar car on any size or shape track.

  • @brad43210 of course it would a nascar is 3,500 lbs not 1,000 and nascar u actually have to sift instead of hitting a button

  • @brad43210 well open whell cars are easier to drive than a stock-car, look up the video where jeff gordon drive an f1 car and montoya drives jeff's car, jeff said that the f1 cars handle way better and did exactly what he wanted to do, its far from that in nascar

  • @brad43210 Yes a formula 1 car is the highest in technology and machinery in motorsports but for some reason many nascar fans feel the need to compare the two while they are so different from eachother its just not possible to compare them fairly. You've respectfully squashed the debate though.

  • @brad43210 but an F1 driver wouldnt destroy and NASCAR driver on any size or shape track.

  • @brad43210

Not really, NASCARs can actually do a little bit of dirt racing, while an F1 would just collapse because they're so fragile.

But a real race fan can like any type of racing, which is what i am. I don't care if an F1 can beat a NASCAR, F1 racing is single file the whole time while NASCAR is neck and neck the whole race.

  • @H3Forge Fragile? How a about Kubica's crash at Montreal in 2007. He hit the wall at 200 mph straight on and the chassis of the car was in tact and all he got was a bruise. Now if a nascar hit the same wall at the same speed he would have been dead. F1 cars are built way stronger than nascar i can assure you that

  • @brodie77

Now I can understand they're not super fragile, but theyre not stronger than NASCARs. But it's meant to be that way since F1s are lighter and NASCARs are bricks.

I like F1 too, I kinda just lose it when people blindly talk shit about NASCAR.

  • @brodie77 Nascar drivers have hitten the wall at 200 mph and walked away with they new car

  • i agree

  • @crbassassin You might have to fix your setup on your stock car so it won't run like a "piece of s***."

  • @WeDieYoung1083 STFU they are 2 diffrent sports and are nothing fucking a like so CALM THE FUCK DOWN

  • @WeDieYoung1083 or not, Bill Elliott's 212.809 MPH lap at Talladega in 1987

  • @WeDieYoung1083 Of course it would. It's 1/3 of the weight of a stock car. It takes the most rudimentary knowledge of motorsports to understand that. Fuckin' F1 snobs need to learn to love the sport of auto racing as a whole, not just be a pretentious douche.

  • @WeDieYoung1083 f-1 is rubish it drives like a go-kart

my litle brother could drive a f-1 ;stock cars you actually drive

  • @99boyz

If it's so easy, then why isn't everyone lining up for a race seat in F1?

  • @PulletSurprise

    because its expensive

  • @RIEKSONE

Lots of drivers have raced their way in.

If you're good, the money will follow you in short order.

  • @99boyz ahaaa....thats the stupidest thing ive ever seen on youtube.

  • @99boyz Dont write about formula 1 when you know nothing about it. Your little brothers neck would probably snap under braking in a formula 1 car or maybe he would stop breathing while he sustains 5 g's through a corner in the heat of malayisa where the humidity prevents your sweat from escaping... of course he will never even sit in a formula 1 car since it takes a lifetime of open wheel racing and preperation to get to formula 1 its the pinnacle of motorsports moron.

  • @puddingpants7 Follow the Leader How Exciting

  • @99boyz Please, I'd rather watch one f1 overtake than 100 nascar overtakes I could care less that they run nose to tail in a constant draft and drive it deeper into a left hander than the other guy .

  • @puddingpants7

have you nascar at montreal or road america

    for god's sake your dumb

  • @puddingpants7 >>>it takes a lifetime of open wheel racing and preperation to get to formula 1 its the pinnacle of motorsports moron.<<<

Hold on to your high ideals, pal. All it takes to get in F1 is the amount of money it takes to buy a ride. In that it's no different than any other racing series. Jeff Gordon could have gotten an F1 ride if he had raised the sponsor money and bought a seat in an F1 car. Same goes for anyone else. All that pinnacle stuff is BS. It's just a business.

  • @99boyz You are retarded.

  • @WeDieYoung1083 Dont be hating on Nascar. I bet if you drive a Stock Car you would be sucking dick.

  • @WeDieYoung1083 and. in turn, make every race completely uncompetitive like your insanely boring parades.

  • @WeDieYoung1083 What do you have against ovals? Or is it just all shapes?

  • you're comparing apples to oranges. F1 is boring. I really couldn't stand watching it after I saw Shumacker's teammate move over to let him win a few years ago. Lame!!

  • you are very very idiot and ignorant...

compare a jet with a scooter...

stupid stock car, have not chance with a F1 car..

    in all tracks..

  • At a high speed oval, the F1 car would have a lower top speed due to so much downforce. So there are a few tracks it wouldn't be better.

  • thats just dumb. The power to weight ratio alone would over come that. and f1 races on very low downforce tracks ie Monza! i modern grand prix car is superior to a modern nascar stock car in every possible way..and im a fan of both so im not being bias thats just the way it is

  • Power to weight only comes into play when the car is accelerating, braking or cornering. I was refering to a high, fairly constant, speed. The aerodynamics of an F1 car create a lot of downforce, but the tradeoff is a lot of drag. I'm not a fan of either series, so I'm not bias either.

  • I'd like to make it clear that I am not a NASCAR fan, so I don't have a bias. F1 cars have lots of downforce, but also lots of drag. That equals a lower top speed. They were built for twisty circuits. A stock car was built for ovals and would do better.

  • well thats why they would need a good wing but f1 cars already have that

  • this is cool man how can i get this?

  • google rfactor and rfactor nascar mod

  • I guess my gramma with her Toyota Camry would be faster than that crappy Nascar Shitty Crap.

    LOL

  • silly

  • Or F1 at Talladega.

  • LOL that would be insane lol

    LAMO!!

  • f1 dosent do ovals

  • Techinally, F1 did an oval at one time. from 1950 to 1959, the Indy 500 was a F1 race, though the thing was that hardly any driver from F1 would participate in the event.

  • Oh snap, information beatdown! Way to know your facts!

  • haha nascar at monaco that be a bigger wreckfest then old bristol

  • it would be a way wild race like sears point X10!!! lol it would be alot of fun if nascar had more road courses. I always enjoy them!!

  • Couldn't agree more. I say there needs to be more road races in Nascar. 2 just isn't enough.

  • Try NASCAR at Macau ;)

  • Would a stock car even be able to fit?!? X-D

  • What game is this?

  • Those rFactor graphics are amazing! With the real camera angles it looks really realistic

  • If this became a reality, I'd rather watch my Granny ride a bike around my lounge for two hours..

  • gordons pwnz all ppl

  • Very amusing. I wonder what a real NASCAR race on Circuit du Monaco would look like.

  • it would be infineon, cept 15 cars would be left and ppl would be doin 20 mph thru the hair pin

  • Nah, more would make it, they could take alot of the hits at relatively slow speeds. Most of them would probably beat to shit though.

  • Considering there's a whole total of 43 cars then.... it would be a massacre

  • As big and heavy as the cars are and as narrow and tight as Monaco is, it would more or less be a last man standing race.

  • just like an f1 race at monaco for the past 30 years, boring and no passing. they need to get rid of some chicanes and have a long stretch from the end of the tunnel to tabac, then make it straight from there to la rascasse. or they can make special smaller cars for monaco but the FIA would get in the way of excitement with their dumb rules

  • Everything you just said made me die a little inside =(

  • boring

  • What game is this from?

  • rFactor

  • was this from a game?

  • yes

  • a bit ironic....lots of europeans and rednecks have the same hair cut. The mullet...

  • lol

  • es jeff gordon in circuit of monaco

  • It's amazing how a F1 car can go around this circuit in the 1:15's but a "simulation" of a stock car doing one lap takes 1:50.

  • F1 is boring. The go carts they drive look stupid and the fans are a little fruity.

  • Why is this crapwagon on an F1 track?

  • F1 is boring and the cars look stupid.

  • what program is that? is it nr2003?

  • WOW how cool would that be to see nascar at monaco. would definetly have my vote!!! wouldn't happen but still would bee really cool to see 43 stock cars tear it up LOL

  • They should race the Atlanta course, and put the Glen in the chase

  • this being a prime example of how crap nascar is. an f1 car does this in 1 min 13 or something rediculous.

France is sorry for allowing Michelin to exist. RE: Indy 2005

  • zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz Nascar always is good for a nap.

  • have you ever been to a live race....if no then you have no idea what your missing...the guys talking on tv are the ones making boaring.

  • Ive been to Daytona, Atlanta, Charlotte, Homestead for Nascar. It was ok. When I went and saw F1 in Indy I promised myself I would never pay to go to a Nascar race again. Just the difference in crowd intelligence was enough to never to a nascar race again, the F1 cars are so much cooler, its like comparing a scooter to a jet fighter. Plus all the fans have teeth.

  • So tell me about the "crowd intelligence" at a NASCAR race, fuel my prejudices! :)

  • It's pretty damn low, but very rarely will somebody do something REALLY stupid near you, it's a big track after all

  • one little thing that makes a big difference, as far as tv enjoyment, is watching it, but listening to Sirius Sat coverage....much more energetic and involved, and u still hear the cars n what not, just use like a dvr system to pause the tv for like 4-5seconds until they match up n ur set

  • do you have ADD?

  • LOL, there is really no comparison. One is massive technology, the other is 1955 tech, hell the cars are still running on carbs. At least the F1 races last only 2 hours, and people have pit strategies, unlike nascar when most of the time everyone pits together. ive been to quite a few Nascar races, Indy Races, Rolex races, and nothing compares to seeing and hearing a F1 car live.

  • so because F1 has newer technology, the drivers have more skill? technology makes everything easy though...you are contradicting yourself buds, read a fuckin novel n quit wasting my time

  • Actually, Im a race fan. I pretty much watch everything. I dont think there is a driver out there that wouldnt jump through hoops to have the chance to drive a F1 one car. Never said they had more skills, I just live how the cars work, its exciting to me, you cant touch another car, it isnt easy. Plus nascar lost me when they started throwing random cautions all the time, and messing up great tracks like Bristol.

  • yeas random cautions are annoying, how about F1 changing their cars and limiting the teams to 2 tire choices, i mean all motorports are changing, its the way it goes

  • Changing the cars sucked, just like the car of the future sucked. Its happening everywhere, cant say I like it too much.

  • i still think you are a fuckin moron, ..."crowd intelligence" made you decide to never go to a Nascar event again? WTF??? so you were never a fan of Nascar, so stop posting on a Nascar vid, nobody cares about how intelligent you're F1 buddies are. Do you all want some free cookies?

  • Being spanish I get a lot of stares, sorry I just dont feel to comfortable. When you go to a F1 race its a mixture of many types of people. I didnt realize you are so into it, I wont get anywhere arguing with you, but realize, Ive been too many Nascar races, so I am somewhat of a fan, its just not my top choice.

  • Ok well all you've done is bash the shit out of it....sounds like a weak fan...and when a hick stares at ya, u just stare rate back, then they get over it....And in that sense Nascar is getting better and more open to whoever wants to join in, im sure its still alittle bad at Dega hah

  • I went to a NASCAR race at Darlington with 3 black friends. Not one of them had any trouble or "stares." Stop being so defensive; maybe go find an affirmative action job for hispanics somewhere.

  • Good for you. Do you want a cookie?

  • And F1 cars don't have shit plastered all over them? Bullshit, go play with your tonka toys somewhere else.

  • F1 cars don't just lose it because of getting aero loose or someone side drafting or bumping you in the middle of a corner.......so F1 drivers don't even practice any of those skills...probably explains why Montoya went up in flames in his first ever Nascar start, he couldn't save it when it got loose on him...a skill your precious F1 drivers know nothing about
