In my opinion, Siobhan has a better tone. Her voice comes out smoother. I'm kinda annoyed by the snarling voice Haley makes when she sings high notes.

I totally forgot that Siobhan did this song! I just checked out if she did better than Haley. I love Siobhan, but the fact that I forgot her version and Haley's will be imprinted on my mind is a no brainer.
i never watched AI before this season, and came here to hear Siobhan for the first time. Haley's performance just knocked this song out of the park --full of passion, anguish, regret; you really knew she was singing about a bordello and worse. The sweet innocent interpretation Siobhan gave it didn't come close, though the vocals were good.
Dunno guess I just don't like Haley, don't like her attitude, the way she presents herself, and acts like she's full of herself and she sings over other people, as I heard again tonight in the group singing, she's drowning everyone else out.

Had to watch this after Haley's performance. Both were great in their own respects; it's hard to pick a favorite out of these two, though Siobhan definitely has the awesome factor for me.

But I have little doubt Haley will be in the top 2, if not her then Jacob. And they will beat the one who should win, James.

Sure there were other good ones, notably "paint it Black", "Up to the Mountain", "Treat Her Like a Lady", "Change Gonna Come" and "Jealous Guy", but this lady's voice with this song made me the fanatical Siobonbon I am today.
in my most humble opinion, i think that simon realized that siobhan was a threat to crystal (his favorite), something that simon had to get rid of fast. simon got his way.

The a capella intro WAS brilliant. I think the Sinead O'Connor version gave her a little inspiration -- Siobhan was really smart to do that. Brilliant.
This is the performance where I lost all respect for Simon as a credible judge. He lied through his teeth. I know body language and he obviously has an agenda here.
I am not a person who holds grudges but this was so blatant that I will give X Factor a miss. And I will smile with Siobhan's future success. She was the one contestant this year that I would love to have as a friend and I am 60.
This was utterly incredible. I cannot believe the manner in which elimination so often occurs upon this show; in my opinion, either she or Bowersox were far more unique and thuse deserving of winning. (I didn't even know that the individual who won was on the show, quite literally) However, I am certain both individuals will rise far from the depths of obscurity within the future, whereas, as according to pattern, the person who won will likely fade into the depths of dreary average citizens.
@MissShelby93 That would be ideal - hopefully Allison from Season 8 will get the recognition she deserves. Iraheta released a great album but I think it should be going higher on the charts than it has been. My hope is that Bowersox and Magnus will do as well as they deserve to.

Based upon Cowell's language I think any judge would convict him.

Nobody on Season 9 can hold notes anywhere near how Siobhan does.

This is the performance where I lost all respect for Simon as a credible judge. He lied through his teeth. I know body language and he obviously has an agenda here.
I am not a person who holds grudges but this was so blatant that I will give X Factor a miss. And I will smile with Siobhan's future success. She was the one contestant this year that I would love to have as a friend and I am 60.

This was utterly incredible. I cannot believe the manner in which elimination so often occurs upon this show; in my opinion, either she or Bowersox were far more unique and thuse deserving of winning. (I didn't even know that the individual who won was on the show, quite literally) However, I am certain both individuals will rise far from the depths of obscurity within the future, whereas, as according to pattern, the person who won will likely fade into the depths of dreary average citizens.

@MissShelby93 That would be ideal - hopefully Allison from Season 8 will get the recognition she deserves. Iraheta released a great album but I think it should be going higher on the charts than it has been. My hope is that Bowersox and Magnus will do as well as they deserve to.

@BSUFAN0339 No, Ryan was great at the end of this video because he questioned Simon and showed to the world that Simon's a liar. Any judge would rule against Simon after viewing his demeanor here. He looks down and to his left when he starts out lying. When questioned he smirks and body language signals that he knows he's lying. This is where Simon started his campaign of lies against Siobhan.

I like Crystal and People Get Ready was great, but House of The Rising Sun was even better for me.

Cara hates the pretty women, undresses Casey--very weird! And Simon's big "moment" is when he leaves the show next year. Judges use body language and affect to determine whether somebody is lying. Cowell Starts off looking down and to the left (standard body language of a liar). Then when questioned by Ryan he can't even keep a straight face with his lies and smirks with an expression that acknowledges that he's a liar. Based upon Cowell's language I think any judge would convict him.

Yes, that's her brother, Rory, sitting next to her Dad. Rory is the oldest of the six Magnus children; Siobhan is fourth. On April 28, it was her grandmother, not her mother, who said, "You're still our star." Older sister Emily was there on 4/28 too - with the sad look on her face. Siobhan is a talented GEM with the heart of an angel.
