I've heard lots of things about dosing, but I've never seen a failed turbocharger from it. True compressor surge (the kidn that happens under full boost and WOT) will rape a turbo in no time. The loads placed on a turbo from liftoff compressor surge is negligable in my opinion.
May not fix it all together...but it would certainly help a great deal in this case. Even if it doesn't completly elliminate surge, it would greatly reduce it.
the only reason a Bov is used is to help prevent turbo flutter( compressor shaft turning the opposite direction ), bov has no improvement in sound or performance of the actual turbo, all it gives off sound wise is a air purge noise caused from the psi escaping before Throttle Blade. The noise your hearing is caused more from the Wastegate dumping exhaust gases downstream into Downpipe(bypassing exhaust heat/gases from the compressor) allowing for more or less boost.

And of course their performance is what makes them fun to drive and it offers a unique experience and different dynamics than any AWD or RWD on the road. The thing I like about it is it can hang with most European exotics (with smart mods) but is still practical. I took mine camping 15 hrs away from where I live. Cant do that in an F430.

its the turbo size in relation to engine displacement that causes 'dose'.
a big turbo with small engine will cause dose.
