It reminds me of christmas when I was a kid. It brings me back 30 years or so of great memories. Sliding, snowball fights, people visiting each other. It was awesome being a kid.

Both the Celtic Connection and the Irish Descendants did covers of this song, and while both are awesome renditions, nothing beats the original version.
ahhhh I really miss Derm. He was the best ever. And one of the nicest men you will ever meet. Dermot actually helped me pick the name for my three and an half year old daugther, Shannon. I miss our little conversation at Erin's. God bless him for he has blessed us all with his wounderful talent and soul.
