I've noticed a mistake in the game. During the introduction of the Big Daddy, when you examine the corpse of the splicer, it labels him as a thuggish splicer even though he was clearly firing a pistol at the Big Daddy.

Before I got anywhere near her, I shot a lighting bolt then whacked her with the wrench. I was already scared by the first part when Johhny dies so I was on edge.

The first I played through and went to the elevator, I heard a splicer (the football player voice) yell something like, "I'm sorry, I-i'll get him next time... NNnnoo! Don't!!!" Then the elevator exploded. I have never actually seen the elevator drop and crash until this video like that. I knew that's what it did, but I never saw it.

If you want to play this game at its scariest you gotta play with the difficulty high so the enemies take a lot of damage before they die and you have to sneak around or get owned. Second you got to go to options and adjust the brightness so that it looks really dark with lots of shadows. That way you have to listen really hard because the splicers will appear to be hiding in shadows. PS. One of the scariest parts was when the houdini splicer first shows up and says "Hi" and vanishes. I shit up.

@BoxLineProductions i disagree, the gameplay in bioshock 2 was way better and harder, less health pack and EVE and way more ennemies, plus big daddies are a bit harder and gathering ADAM takes way longer, i like a bit more difficulty, in bioshock 1 i never went under 6 health packs in stock.

@BoxLineProductions yea, i get what you mean, i liked bioshock 2 more for its background stories, i like listening to the audiotapes, like the ones about jack from the first(the would you kindly thing) and my favorite character in the game, Mr. Andrew Ryan. I listenend to this one with fontaine, talking about changing into Atlas, it interests me. But i understand wat your saying, it's not as scary as the first, hopefully bioshock 3 will combine the scariness and gameplay from the two.

Scariest part for me was the moving mannequins in......fort frolic, I think. The eeriest thong was the light behind them in the reflection of the water gave it a sense of loose-charm...then I realized the statues were plastered people, and I stopped using my brain, and started using my trigger finger....scariest game moment ever....

Of course it's tense and disturbing, maybe a little creepy too, but it's nothing like Dead Space...Dead Space was MADE to make you pee your pants. More like "scariest" moments of the first hour and a half of play. You did get the part with the doctor who appears right behind you after the mist in your first video - that was my #2. The part that scared me most was my first experience with the white plaster spider splicers in Fort Frolic. Third scariest is probably the first time you meet a houdini splicer in Arcadia.

It isn't scary unless you play it at night with the lights off, volume at its loudest, contrast really low, brightness really low, and on hardest difficulty. It isn't that scary if you put the difficulty to easy. The thing is on the hardest difficulty, you risk death at any moment. On easy, it takes tons of rounds into Jack's head to kill him.

P.S. if you read the letter he reads on the plane, it says, "Dear Jack, would you kindly..." and breaks off.
