From his third album, "Another side of Bob Dylan". I've never met him but he's one of the few people who I can actually say changed my life for the better, with just a guitar, a harmonica for punctuation, and words. I have almost everything he ever did.

I know this is silly Metabob, but I just have to cheer! "Chimes of freedom" is one of my favourite songs ever, been singing it like 200 times. It´s so simple yet brilliant. And even though it´s monotonous it´s weirdly NOT monotonous if you are a Dylan fan. Oh thank you MB for bringing ppl´s attention to these lyrics..."tolling for the serching ones, on their speechless seeking path..." I love you MB! Bob Dylan in my mind is the best song writer and poet of all time. I love this song and it;'s amazing to me that at 23 he could have been so intouch and aware of himself and the world around him.
