  • is there any difference between soha (chanted here) and svaha (as chanted by the Dalai Llama)? I know the Gayatri Mantra uses svaha, but I am wondering what the interpretation is here. I would think that the green tara mantra would be the green tara mantra, but there may be a language issue I know nothing about. Any assistance with my ignorance is very much appreciated.

  • @dr88ought As far as I know "soha" is Tibetan and "svaha" is Sanskrit. They both mean the same thing, which is you put in your heart the teachings (or meaning) of the mantra. I also dont quite understand why the Dalai Lama prefers the Sanskrit pronounciation since he is Tibetan himself, but if he is using it, I am using it too :)

  • Thank you. This recording is a massage for a stressed, strained mind. Even my three and five year olds enjoy listening to this. They asked me to sing it to them before bed after hearing it for the first time today.
