I cant really see Civil War bullets being worth much if anything at all. I see lots of videos of metal detector users finding them. Where i live i don't need a metal detector to find them here, just walk out in the woods and kick around the leaves and you will find one (old CW camp and fighting line).
@pcfd20 I like to collect them. Any chance you will tell me where you can just kick them out of the leaves. I'll be there on Monday if that's okay with you. Thanks...
@aquachigger I have not allowed any one on that old property after a guy broke his leg and decided to sue us for it (he lost the suit, but i had to pay the hospital bill). Just goes to show 1 guys stupidity effects many. not saying your that type of person, but its better to be safe then sorry spending 5 months in a lawsuit.
@pcfd20 If I presented to you a "liability release", that would shield you from any legal actions and preclude any attempt to force such. Plus I'd be willing to split the finds or pay you for half of their monetary value.
@goblo023 I wouldn't doubt it. Several times I've seen things in the videos that I didn't see as I was digging them. I'm pretty sure I eventually picked them up. At least I hope so! Thanks for checking out the video...
@piriimd3 Thanks for checking out the video. My camera is an Olympus Stylus Tough-8010. It usually does a pretty good job for a point and shoot. Best part about it is that I found it metal detecting in the river last year.
I tell you what Beau. I sent my Atpro in for repair and for the upgrades. When it came back it is a different machine. I don't know what they did to the machine program wise. Whatever they did it is amazing now. I took it out this morning and went over area's I have hunted to death and was finding coins like crazy. I found a 3 Buffalo Nickel coin spill in an area I have pounded. The Atpro is my new favorite machine now.
@zaxfire69 I'm glad it is working so good for you now and congrats on the coins. I really like mine too and look forward to some land hunting with it as soon as the water hunting is over.
Great video, were you in water 2ft deep or was it really chest deep. Awesome finds, theres sand in the rivers around here i have been trying to find the rocky spots like in that river on the video. Clear water there, when it even rains here the creeks are muddy and the water gains like 3ft higher. Nice bullets, sure is easy finding all that stuff. wheres the half dollars video, i hope you got that on film.
@nuggetnoggin Hey NN... the water was chest deep at the most. I'll be posting up the half dollar video after I'm finished working the spot. Probably later in the fall. Thanks for checking out the video and good luck out there!

Looks like after you finish digging all that lead, you don't need any dive weights!
Keep'em coming Beau and watch out for the amoebas.
