You should cheer whenever you feel like it at a phish show or any rock show. I doubt Trey is shushing them because he's annoyed that they aren't appreciating his music enough, i'm sure whenever he goes to shows hes so heroined out that he barely hears a note haha. He's shushing them so he can hear himself Jizzface. Be respectful of course (don't hit them with glowsticks dumbasses) but don't be afraid to cheer them on!!!!! 2010 tour way better than jizz in the face!!!!!!!!!!!
@wholewheatbagel he's very short, I'm about 5'10 and hung out with him and a slew of musicians after a music festival in Belfast, ME, I would say he is about 5'5 at the best.
only thing is i wish to this day, including the 09 shows, people would stop being so loud. I think that it gets on the band's nerves when people won't shut up them their playing. Just save the energy and go fucking wild after songs. I've seen trey shush the audience on a cappella numbers several times. Enjoy the music and be respectful to the band, hold applause until the end of the song or at least prudent times
Thank you very much. You don't know what seeing this vid means to me. One of my favorite shows of all time. Tweezer, YEM, and Hood in the same set. Good ol' days
My first show! Thanks for posting this- I came looking for this specific version to stoke some memories! Can't believe it's here!

In the still of the night, in the pale moonlight
The wind, it moans and sighs
These awful blues I just can't lose
I'm blue, and I'm lonesome too

Thank you Bill Monroe! Phish was some serious fun back in the Burlington Vermont bar hopping and Goddard 80's - That's what I miss.

while i agree with you somewhat, the audience is a big part of phish shows and dead shows alike. they wouldn't be the same without it.

Man I MISSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS phish.
Great vid, I think this is in the Jeff Mosier Bluegrass vids. Nice to have it on its own though, one of my faves.
Thanks for posting.
