My Pink Convict / Pink Parrot Fish mix chasing my finger

Hey, i have a gigantic convict black and white cichlid and she is in her own tanking and im waiting for the males to arrive. is there anyway i get get them to like a rocky grassy habitat?

I would say make sure they have at least two cave-like hiding spots in case if they need time to get along. The fishes will move things around in the tank to build their nest so it's sort of "set it and forget it" type of deal.

How did you get this fish? Did you breed to get him, or buy him? He's quite adorable.
