Does Ron scream? I have Wild Red Foxes come in my yard at night and they scream they sound like a womans being stabbed to death. And I know there not Coyotes because I heard Coyotes howling at night as well and they tend to yap. This is a bloody murder scream lol and I think there Foxes cause I seen videos of them screaming making the same sound.
He has never screamed like those video or audio files I have listened to... maybe because since he's 'safe' from predators and he's not interacting with other foxes....
@TheCajunGambit1 That person getting stabbed to death sound is indicative of a screech owl, and yes it sounds just like that. It usually makes you jump out of your skin when you are not expecting it and i have a family of them here. Nails across chalkboard is nothing compared to a screech owl.

My fox is a lot calmer about such things since I had him castrated. I found out that wolf park castrated their foxes due to the same severe aggression problems I had to deal with. Be careful with your intact male. Instances like that can escalate quickly.
With my fox, it wasn't always a matter of "pissing him off" so much as it was making him afraid. That was the primary problem when he was young, but as he got older, he mellowed out and became far less fearful.
The sexual aggression, however, was seasonal and pissing him off was as easy as being in the same house as him, but those hormones also meant that he'd go from growl to bite very quickly during the rise and fall. The's days, though, he's totally mellow yellow.
You might've accidently pinched him with it. I had a similar old one and my dog started to grow very tired of it. I figured the problem was old spikes which poked her because they were not pointing the right way anymore. Also, you have to keep it absolutely straight or the ones at the edges. It works like those mattresses fakirs lay on lol.
