Your locs are cute! Is it hard to maintain small locs? I just started my locs in August. They are small. My new loctician says that small locs break eaisly. Is that true?

Thank you! The locking period was rough. As my locs mature, the easier managing gets. Depending on how many locs you have, the maintenance can be time comsuming. Look at it this way, you only retighten every 4-8 weeks. Interlocked locs are very strong. The key to beautiful locs are conditioned and moisten locs. They will not break if the scalp and hair is healthy.

I just went to the Nubian Kinks salon in Brooklyn on Thursday to start locs!!The pomade is amazing. It left my twists moist with a nice hold, a natural sheen, and no greasy feeling.
