I really like this interpretation. Really creative with the use of ASL and the use of the "ILY" handshape to convey meaning. Just one small criticism (and this is a common criticism of your other videos)--I notice you fiddle too much (sideways movement), and this sometimes distracted me from focusing on your signing style.
Ive seen you and Tiffany use the sign at 0:50 but I havent been able to figure out what it means... Its two Y hands knocking against each other... can someone give me a little help?
@jaytalex10 Looks like a version of the sign CONFLICT or CONTENTION using Y hands....think of two animals knocking their horns against each other fighting. :)
I understand you are a med student and therein lies a passion however; I don't understand when you have THIS MUCH TALENT..why you do not make a career out of it?! Not only do people see the passion you have for this kind of interpretation of music but you exude a love of music that surpasses any I have ever seen through interpretation. I would come see someone's concert just to watch you interpret the music. I have never seen anything like the work you put out.
and I'm serious about how you should think about visiting schools for the deaf. have an awesome assembly... showing them your creative signing skillz and spreading some love. I really think my kids would LOVE to see you ...
Ayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy, PANAAAA!!! You're a genius!!!! They ain't ready! They.really.are.not!!! This piano accompaniment is the best version of this song -- the visual high points are THAT much stronger because of the pop drop-off. LOVE IT! ... But not more than you. Ya tu sabes. ;-)
LOVE the part "black black, black and blue...." This version is pretty special, haven´t heard it before but it fits perfect to the signs (or other way round). Definitaly more poetic. Well done!!
