  • omg why does it look like an exorcism starting at 2:07 ? O_O nice song tho xD

  • Got to love Royksopp, I don't know how they do it, but they've got their own sound and I love all the artists the choose to work with them. This album is truly a work of art. I like the 'social' commentry they make through music.... how we are in the machine age... turning into machines I guess .."I'm in love with a robot". The joy in our lives heavily relies on the use of technology and in part, we have become mechanized ourlselves. Is there much room to simply be a human?

  • Love the synth that comes in at 0:42

  • amazing

  • well done

  • i have the album and i uploaded it to my xbox hard drive lol

  • great tune. sounds the way i love it and a bit like the chemical brothers..

  • wow!!!! that video is greater, how do you do it?

  • lady gaga= fail *barf*

  • Favorited, thanks much.

  • pleno

  • Beautiful. I guess it makes sense that works of art like this only get 8500 views, whereas Lady Gaga's "Music" gets tens of millions.

    Awesome video btw!

  • thank you very much for your kind comment....!

  • ya lady gaga sux. this is sweet :)

  • Great sounds. Stevie Wonder riff :-)

  • you speak the truth Gwyo..... the delicious riff is courtesy of stevie wonder's 'too high'.... peace brother...

    holbrook.

  • prefer the original in Japanese...

they slightly cheated with this tune..it was a remix they did

  • Although I'm not the strongest in the japanese language I prefer the english lyrics, they are rather deep and thought provoking (although the original is not without its own analogies and symbolism)

If you're talking about the melody and song structure there's hardly enough difference to really warrant a preference

  • u r welcome!

  • lyrics remind me animatrix, and they're brilliant.

too bad it's only two verses, i kramsno remix of eri's "sing a song" has three and i think that should be the number ... anyway, great song interesting vid.

  • thanks ezmix

  • This lyrics reminds me in someway the story behind The Matrix

  • I'm thinking that's the message to this song

    so AWESOMELY executed!!!

    Royksopp.....you are GODS!!!!

  • Now, an alternative version:

There was a time when all the shadows of these tall billings

Would throw their keep around each corner of the grassy feet

And one by one, each new chade would collar the green way black

Allowing changes that we could not have foreseen

Everybody let us case upon the world we created

And us rest our eyes upon the grape machine, as we wave goodbye

Feel the evening breeze caress your smile, the cities a-dying

As we watch it fall into a modern state, a modern tiiiime

Allowing changes that we could not have forseen

Everybody let us gaze upon the world, we created

And must rest our eyes up by the great machine, as we wave goodbye

Feel the evening breeze caress your smile, the cities are dying

As we watch it falling to a modern state, a modern time

  • Remember when we'd hear the distant sound of human life?

A zillion noises wimper as they travel through the sky

And one by one, each little sound, has faded away with time,

Allowing changes that we could not have foreseen

Everybody let us say goodbye to all, our notions

'Cause there's nothing left to say that we're humane, when we're left behind

It's to late to think that we can worship human emotions

'Cause we've already evolved into machines, in our minds
