Hi Britney! I read the first two books of the Millenium trilogy by Stieg Larsson and looooved them. The story is so intense and you basically can't stop reading!!!
The girl with the dragon tattoo movies are good but has a few risky and violent scenes . Congrats on the mention. Great video, i'm going to check out the cheshire cat.
great IMM. I really want to read the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. I watched all three Swedish movies and they were so awesome . The books are probably better lol
great IMM Britney!! :D I have Tiger's Curse too! It looks so interesting! I BARELY started The Mortal Instruments series (barely on City of Bone s), and ordered the special edition of City of Fallen Angels from B&N because I know that I know I'm going to love this series!
@MrRJGonzales Thanks! Ahh, I can't wait to hear what you have to say about the Mortal Instruments series! I'm obsessed with Clare's books. Once you catch up on Mortal Instruments, you should read Clockwork Angel (first in Infernal Devices).
I must warn that The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo is a bit violent and graphic. The whole series is very good though. Very intriguing. They have been made into movies in Sweden but the DVD's they sell here have an english dub track on them. They're also very very good.
@peteisgod66 Yeah, my aunt warned me about that too but she kept saying they're amazing. Once I finish the books I'll have to check out the movies because I hate watching the movies first. Now I just have to figure out time to read them because they look pretty long. haha
@iEatWordsChannel They're definitely amazing. Stieg Larsson is/was a fantastic writer. The movies are just as good, and lol me too. Yeah they're long lol, but they're pretty fast paced and are very page-turnery.
The whole The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo series have been adapted into movies, but they're Swedish (I thinkg). But they're working on making American versions.
@iEatWordsChannel No and I haven't watched the movies either! haha. But I'm determined to do both. :) And even though I haven't seen the Swedish version, I can almost guarantee you that they are better than the American versions will ever be. Because that's how it is with crossover movies. In terms of keeping true to the books, I have no say in that either but I still would say watch the foriegn ones--they're your best bet in terms of production. That was my ramble for the day.lol
@HopeIsMyOxygen I'll have to check the movies out once I finish the books! And yeah, I LOVE foreign films. One of my favorite movies ever is the French film A Very Long Engagement and it's based off of a book which they follow amazingly well. I feel that way with TV as well. I'm not a huge fan of Skins but of what I have seen of both the British and American, definitely prefer the British original version.
I've been wanting to read Tiger's Curse for a while now. I can't wait to see what you think! I can't find a cheap copy anywhere, so I'm just 'living' through everyone else ;)
I haven't read Stieg Larsson's books either, but a lot of people have told me that the series (trilogy?) is great. I hope you enjoy :D
@AmberPepper I do the same thing when I can't find books or can't afford them! haha Right now I've been on the search for The Duff by Kody Keplinger. Have you read it yet? :)

@iEatWordsChannel I just bought The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo book, and I'm going to read it after I finish Mockingjay!
And my favorite foreign film is Pan's Labyrinth by Guillermo del Toro--it is gorgeous!
