If you're playing a Guardian, the emphasis will be on Strength, Conditioning and Dexterity so you can be a powerful melee fighter.

But many quests require you to be charismatic (means you need to be able to Persuade), so it's worth investing in Charisma as well.

That's a bit harsh...I have both games, and I prefer KOTOR 1, but KOTOR 2 has a lot of neat stuff. The problem is that LucasArts forced an early release in time for Christmas...but it's not fair to dismiss the whole game as bad.

My only two problems with this game are

1)It is the most glitchy game I have ever played.

2)After Dantooine some battles become seemingly impossible.

Also, why does this game look better then the version I play.

Do you play on the XBox or PC? This is played on the XBox.

To me, the battles get easier after Dantooine, as you have lightsabers & force powers. The toughest part for me is on Taris :)

My Jedi characters only used one lightsaber (except Bastila). My Force powers were Death Field, Force Resistance, Force Speed, Master Valor, Stasis (which I hate as a Jedi Guardian) and Force Wave.

Reason why I use Valor is because your Jedi Guardian has less Wisdom, so use Master Valor to increase all Saving Throws and attributes by a lot. I used that strategy, and Force Speed and Force Resistance to defeat Malak. I beat him yesterday without breaking a sweat. Same to Bastila. I was playing as a Male Jedi Guardian
