That happened to me the first time we went on the ride, too...made everyone jump. But I think that was an error. I'm pretty sure one of the lights blew or something. You know, how lightbulbs do that sometimes when you turn on a light. Yeah, only bigger because these are bigger light fixtures. ...But they should totally have that effect happen all the time. It really adds to the ambiance, and gets everyone's heart racing.

The video for the one is NJ is a little bit different. But the part where it starts to flicker is the same. When i saw that i was like "Oh great, people that were coming out of the ride said it wasnt good and know i just waited 3 hours and the video is going to break?" But then i realized what was going on and it was awesome!

Well, i made a video of this awesome pre-show to the ride, not the ride itself now did i? Six Flags usually lacks in creativity and theme with their coasters/rides, so it was expected. However they did a decent job decorating the inside like when your in line, with Wayne Enterprises sign and Gotham Cab advertising...etc, Felt like you were going on the Gotham City Rail, 'The Dark Knight' July 18th 2008!!!, Can't Wait!!!

oh absolutely!, thanks for takin a look!, i love how this movie has been and continues to be promoted, with the viral marketing campaigns to a ride evan months before the film comes out! This ride was not what I expected. The preshow BORING. This coaster is REALY for kiddies. I rode it saturday May 31st for Coaster Celebration at Six Flags Great Adventure and I could have rode it as many times as I want befor the park opened to the public buuuut I did Nitro from 9:45am till 10:30am when the park opend to the public. Much better choise!! I give The Dark Knight Coaster 2 stars.
