This basically strips the nature of reporter proffesion: report on anything people want to watch, with a concerned voice and face if necessary, but in fact not giving a shit about it.
The reporter cared more about talking to them than helping them; that's crap. All those people standing near that guy at the end and absolutely no one even attempted to help him... What is wrong with people?!
omg, this is how the first aid looks like according to the CNN?! Just make the movie, if the heavily wounded man dies - it will be even "better".
In normal civilized country, for not helping the victim - one can go to jail for years. And I am sure if it was one of those US reporters who was shot - they would treat him a bit differently. Anyone who goes to such a country for sure has at least basic first medical aid training. Hypocrits, I am in shock.
On the one hand you have the brutal cops, but on the other there are reporters who are only taping their material. Look at the 0:52 , it's shocking! In my country (Poland) you can be sent to prison for up to 3 years for not helping the injured. I don't know how it is in Haiti, but these reporters should be punished! My god, this world is getting worse and worse...
Without the reporters, these issues would not be made known to the world... What about the other people that were around the victims? Why do you not put blame on them? And what do you suppose that the reporters do for a wounded victim anyway? I didn't know news journalists had medical experience...
I am not saying that the reporters should operate on them, they could say "Don't try to stand up, lie down, everything's gonna be ok" and give them some water. You don't need to have any medical experience to do so... Anyway, there were 2 camera operators and one reporter, one of them could help and the two others could do their job. For me, they are only bastards only looking for sensation, not trying to help there.
What the hell CNN... you just stand there taping while the man lays on the road half dead. If the ambulance didn't come after two hours call another one.I am deeply disappointed CNN you should all be ashamed of what you didn't do for that man
Wow----thats some harsh reality. That anyone could be shot for being hungry makes one step back and re-evaluate the whole thing. I understand looting is a concern, and they're trying to prevent it, but to shoot someone because they have something, and MIGHT have been looting..........
@Misyu44...i agree with you but if i'm not mistaken i think in those kind of situations international laws come into play...i'm not saying what happened was right but i think the media/foreigners can't don't anything in that type of situation or they run the risk of being inprisoned. Again i might be wrong..so don't flame me for this comment.

They are reporting that situation not because of the hunger or brutal cops, but becouse it is a sensation. Thay don't care about the problem.
