I taught Pascal at university here in France, in English. Wow, they were bored. But I went to where he lived and some of his things are still there. Really fascinating. Shared, uprated.
@slobomotion i wouldnt have thought there are english courses in french universities :D i studied for one year at paris x (philosophy):) -- as for pascal and your courses, i wouldnt have been bored :P
@yabba234 They started teaching in English here in the early 2000s. The pay rates have been cut in half since then, and I never have been paid for my three lectureships with l'Education Nationale last year. Visitng profs only get paid twice yearly. The Prud'Hommes do not apply in this case. Italy started doing this, too, a few years ago. They just never pay you.
