you can talk shit about k20s bcuz of some idiot saying that he spanked a k20 w/ his vr6 on a you tube vid. i have a real k20a2 in a 96 civic coupe i/h/cat back k-pro ecu stock tune and i'm pulling 13s on 1/4 mile.i just bought some new headers called r crew once i have them installed and it tuned a will b putting around 300w.hp to the ground & run 12s in the 1/4.all motor if you look up k20 turbos on you tube you don't see any v w running against them y is that??thy r capable of making 500w.hp

@horse6581 not trying to be a dick but look up top secret vr6. its a stock 3.2 motor in a mk2 running a boosted k20 and the VR beats him in a few of the runs. im a vw guy but i honestly will give a properly built k20T props. and as far as that 500WHP remark thats childsplay. im from a really small town and i know of at least 6 500+ WHP/AWHP dubs just around here. so they gotta be all over.

A stock VR6 in a GTI would def loose to a K20 swapped hatch. Theres videos online of a Stock K20 hatch beating an Evo on the freeway, and don't sit there and tell me a stock VR6 can beat an evo. I've driven both, and already know the answer to that. lol

I don't really know about the 1.8t, i've heard its similar numbers to the VR6, just less torque, as for the K20, a buddy of mine has a K20 civic Si and i saw it put down 199whp.
