@DataV2 Thats because there is oxygen atoms in the fuse. And the fuse is dobbel coted with nitrocellulose laquer, so the water don't have time to stop the fire because the fuse is making gas.

@DataV2 Chemical fires like KNO3 (ingredient in fireworks) don't need oxygen and burn hot enough so water does not cool it.

@NthingEW This particular lake is overrun with snakeheads. They have wiped out all of the native fish and it's illegal to return them to the water alive. They are fun to catch and we have managed to remove several dozen from the lake so far.
