it was given on some website where they showed the cap's shield in iron man that it was created by tony's father.that's all i know.but,with all the hints marvel keeps dropping,i think it's gonna be one heck of a movie!!!!1

This was the first source of the clip. I recorded it before the DVD and BluRay was released in the UK. There is probably a better version of this out there now but I can't rip blurays so that was the best at the time.

Captain America had his round shield in the comics as early as 1941. He only carried that triangular shield for a very brief time. The "Ultimate" universe Cap has been written in a way that has him using that triangular shield for most of his wartime career.

cap didnt have a round shield back then...he never got his round one till the avengers (comic -wise)....movie wise stark was making his shield...also caps uniform was identical to that of WW2 infantry just blue...so yea his cameo doesnt make sense to me...lol

First of all, Iron Man (Stark) Was NOT creating cap's shield at that time, even, so the whole theory of it being in his lab yet is unthinkable. The director even had said that it was an easter egg, and they decided to keep it as a hint.

Look towards the end at 2:22 at the bottom left of the screen. Can't make it out well but on that sheet of ice that is breaking up ... there's Cap'n laying there frozen. Look for the flash of red in the ice...
