god brians ball motion is so fantastic he is truly is skilled bowler i hope one day i can be a 200 avg bowler...........162 at the moment...............
I personally use a Storm Invasion and love it, but am considering getting this ball because I have always wondered how a Brunswick would react to how I throw it. Thanks for the great videos.
On a side note, John likes to drop the ball quite a bit doesn't he?
i would say the c-system bc of its ability to bite harder off the dry..jus got mine two days ago and its like trying to tame a lion. off a fresh house shot, im swinging the lane.
i bowl with a virtual gravity but on some lane conditions the gravity doesnt like to hold its line very well do you think this ball would hold its line better?
In response to jmotarmz question, you need to look at how both balls were layed out and then look and the length and backend reaction and where they are throwing. There is a difference between the way the invasion and the c system3.5 were layed out then Brian was throwing the ball
Just bought this ball off a left hander for $50 bucks.. The only problem is.. I'm a right hander.. Gotta pay 50 bucks for a plug and redrill.. Using the Storm Invasion right now.. I like to play right up the boards anywhere between 8- 11 board with a lot of ball speed.. Think i got a pretty good deal?
LOL, buggs obviously you havent seen it in action. I know 3 people besides myself that are amazed on how this balls works the lanes and destroys the pocket.... I have one buddy that cant throw it with out of box finish, hes gotta get it polished.everyone has there opinions but for those that read it dont just take one guys word. search around the web.
Read some reviews at least before commenting on a ball you've never even thrown, you'll find nearly everyone saying it hits like a sledgehammer and throws pins and messengers everywhere. and the 3,5 is the same core as the 2.5 just an improved coverstock! how can you call one good and the next a "dud"? your college "teammates" must be beer pong teammates from the sound of it
People have bigger egos than brains...They aren't throwing to impress you, they are throwing to show the ball reaction. If you think each ball Brian throws looks like it reacts the same you need to learn what you are talking about. and buggs, are you serious?? Hits like a marshmallow? You are obviously either a: Blind, b: a fanboy of another brand, or c: NOT a REAL bowler.
and the comparison between those 2 balls is that the c system 3.5 is gonna be stronger backend but the cornor will have much better mid lane the cornor flattens out a lot if that helps:)
this ball reads the lanes okay, but it looks like it hits the pins like a marshmallow. not impressed. the 2.5 is a good ball, a couple of my college team mates have one and it is pretty impressive. yet another example of brunswick following up a good ball with a dud
@buggs4990 While I understand that everyone is entitled to their own opinion, I have to respectfully disagree with buggs. FOR ME, I have found the 3.5 to be the perfect complement to the 2.5, especially on the heavier PBA patterns. It's a total animal on a medium/heavy THS with incredible hitting power and carry.
By keeping the pattern the same on every video, you can compare multiple videos and see how each ball reacts differently on the same pattern. If you saw a storm invasion on the shark, then saw a c-system on a THS you'd think "wow that c-system is much strong" because the oil pattern would make it look better. They're doing just fine the way they have it
@awsomekid25 why? its a reaction vid. all that matters is that you get a clean read on your reaction. who cares how often they strike, its not a review.
they also listed the specs for the Evil Siege instead of the C-System, which is the ball in the video. Maybe a little less flashy production and a little more fact checking?
You guys showed Brian Halstrom's bowling information twice instead of John's when he demonstrated.
louisdiaz316 1 month ago
so john throws it right out on the first shot.. and it comes back.. and then he decides to throw it virtually fucking straight??

what does the ball types mean? like the tweener and cranker?
southernmisfit 1 year ago
@southernmisfit Tweener and cranker are not ball types. They are simply bowling styles.
By definition a stroker is very smooth and consistent bowler. They usually don't put a lot of revs on the ball.
A cranker is someone that rips on the ball, putting a lot of revs. Usually they throw the ball faster and have a much more aggressive bowling style.
A tweener is a broad spectrum between those two.
For more details, watch Talk Bowling Episode 16.

armorking987 1 year ago
@armorking987 All depends on the USPS. We ship quickly, usually same day, or following business day.

I ordered the 14 lb and the weight say 13 lb 15 ounces is that the 14 lb because I dont want a generic core.
jeff55jeff32 1 year ago
@jeff55jeff32 Yes, 13.15 is a 14# ball so you will have the core that all 14's have.
