Hi Smyrnacowboy thank you so much for the shout out and I am in the process of trying to do some sought of video blog hope fully soon of some sought or another my husband aslo enjoys watching your blogs please keep them coming Di (happydi)Australia
First time contacting you so Hi again from the UK. I ride a small 100cc scooter at present, saving hard for a Burgman 400. They cost around £4000 here, how does that compare with USA prices? Keep posting as I always enjoy your views on the world , also respect your sensible riding style. Thanks man. CH
Hello mate! Glad to meet ya. The Burgman 400 runs around $6599 USD. The one with ABS runs around $7099 USD. MSRP. Don;t know what the exchange rate is but there it is. Thanks for the complement and I'm glad you enjoy the vid's. As far as I am concerned, it doesn't matter what you ride. were all are on 2 wheels out there. Sharing the same risk's. Good luck on the 400. There really nice scoots.
35 pounds is impressive! I've been dieting too, but I don't think I've lost more than 4 or 5. Haven't been terribly serious about that. Gotta get to the gym and actually use the membership I've got.
Dude! 35 pounds? That's AWSOME! I'm trying to lose weight as well, and I'm failing at it so far. You are an inspiration, and a great motivator too. Glad to hear your job is going well. Still looking forward to that breakfast one of these days! Have a great weekend!
What I do is count the carbs. 35 per meal and 15 per snack. I know it sucks because bread is my weakness. Got to stick to it for my little girl. Thanks for the complement.
As for your chicken strips, it is not really important to some of us who care more about the ride. :) I personally like a bit of aggro in my rides, but that is just me, I have respect for you because you are out there, like us all who ride, we risk out lives every day just to live another day on a bike. :D Forever Two Wheels!!
Mahalo for the update and an glad your new position @ work is working out for you and congrats on the weight loss as well!! Looks like the weather is perfect for scootin' out there, we are still struggling with daily winds of up to 70mph here so hopefully it will be scootin' time again for me I hope!! Aloha & Take Care sir!! ~REEDSBUD~
Glad you posted! I was going thru TSC withdrawal. Are you on the day shift? if so, good for you.
35 pounds is great. Glad to hear about the good checkup!
.
Listen, my wife is getting ticked off that I'm out riding my scoot all the time and she may kick me out of the house....you've got an empty room and I was thinking...
Right now, I'm on days. Who knows come Friday. Thanks for the complement. I told my wife we should rent it out but in one word..................... NOPE! LOL

Cowboy, how many miles is it from your house to your job?
oymeit 2 years ago
6.9 miles, one way. Not very far.

If you get skinny as me you will have to put rocks in your pockets to keep from getting blown off your bike at highway speeds. Hee hee
As for the chicken strips..... I am damn proud of mine.
My goal has always been to avoid those 45 degree leans whenever possible.
To JimNtexsas I have seven grandchildren and I may be a Great grandfather by my 55th birthday in two years.

I think we must be brothers in a past life. I don't care about the chicken strips. All I care is to not pick up a nail in the tire. LOL
