The IPCC gets from a .5 to 3 degree C increase depending on which of the 7 incomplete positive loopback biased models you look at.
If you read the executive summery of the models they admit they ignore many neg loopbacks that drive temp down because they simply cannot predict thingas like storms, There are many more of these neg loopbacks ignored, little understood or not discovered. Then there are outside forces we cant predict like gamma rays and sunspots.
A 100ppm increase in CO2 in the lab has NO effect on temperature, none! So the warming nuts say this is not fair because CO2 is in 50,000 feet of atmosphere so there are theories based on layers and reflection that raises temp a few tenths of 1 degree F, not much and unproven. Then the warming nuts claim incomplete positive loopback biased virtual models that cant even predict the past say this slight raise in temp has an AMPLIFYING effect.
For example it shows 1 degree C higher 1000 yrs ago, 2 degree C higher 2000 yrs ago and 3 degree C higher 3300 yrs ago with many ups and downs in between. Note the polar bears are still here and the earth did not flood.
What is even more disturbing Al Gore ignore sall the data from the southern hemisphere or Volstok ice core which shows no extended time period of flat temps, instead the last 800 years it has had 3 major temp changes over 2.5 degrees C.
If you look at the entire GISP ice core temperature data it does shows like in Al Gores movie temperature in the N.H. has been relatively flat for 800 years with a .5 C spike the last 100 years. However Al Gore and others stop at 800 or so years for good reason as the rest of the data shows the norm is drastic temperature change as much as 2.5 degrees C in less than 200 years.

Fox reports a lot that others dont, but lures in its viewers only to come to the same conclusions that cnn does. They are all in line. Furthermore if you understand climate science you would understand we don't have much of an effect on it, always throughout history it fluctuates(via the sun/oceans). This distracts us from real environmental concerns which there are plenty. depletion of fish, air pollution (not carbon) etc... copenhagen is about taxes and control through world governance.

The issue isn't weather global warming is real or not, the issue is whether the human contribution plays any part, as you alluded to in your post.
There is a lot of science that explains the flip side of the coin, such as sun spots etc. It just doesn't get mainstream media attention.
You can search on google video for "the global warming swindle" to get the other sides' story from the experts, with facts that might surprise you.

The IPCC gets from a .5 to 3 degree C increase depending on which of the 7 incomplete positive loopback biased models you look at.
If you read the executive summery of the models they admit they ignore many neg loopbacks that drive temp down because they simply cannot predict thingas like storms, There are many more of these neg loopbacks ignored, little understood or not discovered. Then there are outside forces we cant predict like gamma rays and sunspots.

A 100ppm increase in CO2 in the lab has NO effect on temperature, none! So the warming nuts say this is not fair because CO2 is in 50,000 feet of atmosphere so there are theories based on layers and reflection that raises temp a few tenths of 1 degree F, not much and unproven. Then the warming nuts claim incomplete positive loopback biased virtual models that cant even predict the past say this slight raise in temp has an AMPLIFYING effect.

For example it shows 1 degree C higher 1000 yrs ago, 2 degree C higher 2000 yrs ago and 3 degree C higher 3300 yrs ago with many ups and downs in between. Note the polar bears are still here and the earth did not flood.
What is even more disturbing Al Gore ignore sall the data from the southern hemisphere or Volstok ice core which shows no extended time period of flat temps, instead the last 800 years it has had 3 major temp changes over 2.5 degrees C.

If you look at the entire GISP ice core temperature data it does shows like in Al Gores movie temperature in the N.H. has been relatively flat for 800 years with a .5 C spike the last 100 years. However Al Gore and others stop at 800 or so years for good reason as the rest of the data shows the norm is drastic temperature change as much as 2.5 degrees C in less than 200 years.
