An interesting comment. I've heard that, actually, Edward was homosexual and that he only got together with his American wife because she was the only woman who supported his sexual activities. That meant, too, that she was at liberty to 'look elsewhere'. A good arrangement.

My resentment against Edward is that he played footsy with Hitler even when his country was fighting for its life to defeat him! That he could even have had any illusions in that regard is disgraceful.
