LOL! I noticed that you added Amazing Grace there! So, you really like the song, huh? For some reason I thought you didn't. Alright, it's been decided, my friend! I will pick that very same song for the SLMNews advertisement purposes! I will borrow a camera today. My banjo doesn't sound as good as the one there, but hopefully, it will do. I will tell you immediately after I have it recorded to send it to ya somehow. Alright, take care, sir! Again, great video!
hoo ! those old stoves bring back some memories. Even though I'm fairly young (46) I lived for about 2 years, with no runnin. water (except for a pump well out yonder) and we had them cook stoves ... we used for heat and cookin and heatin water up to take a bath. Hard life that was ... but sometimes wish'd I could go back. Well ... maybe that'll happen ... so long as I can bring my computer this time! haha. Good Video Red! thank you! For the South!
Damn Mike, I know I'm old. But your making me feel really old. The way I grew up, I've used and know how to use damn near everything I seen in this video.
Not excluding the outhouse...........I was the one to dig a new hole every few years.
Hey man, one of my morning chores was carrying out the chamber pot and washing up before school everyday till I was 16 years old. Then my next brother had a chance to take over my position. I hated doing it in the winter.
I remeber one moring I was taking it out the out house to dump and we had a lot of ice and I slipped and fell, guess where all the urine went.........right before school.
My Mom was madder cause I had to wear another pair of clothes to school before wash day.
Oh I wish i was in Dixie, away, away. In Dixieland I'll take my stand to live and die in Dixie. For Dixieland, where I was born, early lord one frosty morn', look away, look away, look away, Dixie land.
Great song, huh? Our real national anthem. There was a time not too many decades ago when they would play it before football games across Dixie and the people would all stand as our anthem was played.
This brings back memories of visiting my Aunt when I was real small and she lived out in a big house on a farm similar to this one. I need to go back there now and see what shape that old house in.

Great video man, funny thing i lived in a place not much more modern than this in the 1970's. Great memories, wonderful uncomplicated way of life...
