hoo ! those old stoves bring back some memories. Even though I'm fairly young (46) I lived for about 2 years, with no runnin. water (except for a pump well out yonder) and we had them cook stoves ... we used for heat and cookin and heatin water up to take a bath. Hard life that was ... but sometimes wish'd I could go back. Well ... maybe that'll happen ... so long as I can bring my computer this time! haha. Good Video Red! thank you! For the South!

Hey man, one of my morning chores was carrying out the chamber pot and washing up before school everyday till I was 16 years old. Then my next brother had a chance to take over my position. I hated doing it in the winter.

I remeber one moring I was taking it out the out house to dump and we had a lot of ice and I slipped and fell, guess where all the urine went.........right before school.

My Mom was madder cause I had to wear another pair of clothes to school before wash day.

Great song, huh? Our real national anthem. There was a time not too many decades ago when they would play it before football games across Dixie and the people would all stand as our anthem was played.
