  • good job man..

  • Song is overused:O

  • @MauritsTuts like a two day old tampon

  • ok video, but i really like your house.

  • check out my heavy bag video then watch my sparring videos.

  • hi, dude, ncie workout Megamake is right, u better improve your footwork because if someone lauch you a sidekick your right to the floor. U keep moving that is nice, and u must keep practice. cya

  • Good conditioning routine. But I thinks on the street this guy would be destroyed/mullered!...Good luck fella!

  • good video but he is too slow on the bag,and bad foot work

  • @MegaMakedonski

Cool, I can live with that criticism

  • @martialartsjamaica

  • hey this is great way to show some of the workouts for kb and muay thai. i have been doin KB for a a little more than a year and just realized that i had stopped doing the jump clap pushups only because i forgot about it a few months back.

besides.... read some of your comments below... appreciate your humble words.

  • but you should show more combo movement if you knw what i mean

  • you have great movement im def useing this to get me started in the morning keep up witht he hard work makes me just wanna kill a bag right now

  • what is the song you used in this video??

the workout seems good, my friend is helping me with kickboxing, i might try some of these workout

  • I have no idea. I picked it from a list youtube offered me.

  • @martialartsjamaica oh, okay.. thank you

  • drowning pool - let the bodies hit the floor

  • @bounthsy the song is bodies by drowning pool

  • @bounthsy Name of the group and song is. Drowning Pool - Bodies

  • @bounthsy I don't know if someone already replied to tell you, but the song is, Let the bodies hit the floor - Drowning Pool

  • that is no joke a realy nice lawn!!!!

  • I 100% Agree with re-chambering. I was really tired when I filmed this being the 3'd day of training so I wasn't in shape yet. But with that said I do need to re chamber even when tired since that's the worst time to make mistakes.

  • Big point here. The bag weighs nearly 200 lbs. So it will not look like I have any power. The bag is filled with sand. No sponge or cloth. Just rock hard sand.

  • Throwing a jab before the side kick is also a TKD thing. Not a necessary but great for faking and judging distance. If you watch carefully I throw all my techniques with different aims. Some times the round house kick is wide sometimes tight. Same with my punches. Switching stance is also for a different purpose. Besides. Remember, this was day 3 of practicing after years of not training. I can't be perfect at the beginning. Give it time.

  • Don't mind the comments but the last three are really and truly style differences. TKD Karate etc. I've done three different styles of martial arts, they all do the same kicks with small difference with different benefits. Example, so called turning away from the side kick ads more power due the hip turning over and follow through with the kick.

  • Very Good training keep going like that!

  • hope u breathe properly. leverage and balance are crusial when working punches and kicks together. make sure u stay crunched. good luck!

  • on the side kick I would rechamber more (harder to grab) and throw a jab before the sidekick and after to begin with but then REALLY work that back straight punch long and short after the sidekick. for that of course u cannot turn away from your own power on the sidekick. dont push yourself on the side and back kicks. stick to basics: front, round, side and backkicks, jab, righthand, left hook, uppercut and mix them up. slow down.

  • good conditioning! u need to slow down and work every punch and kick step by step. seems like there is no punching power going through the bag. the round kicks are too wide in my opinion - screw that chamber in tighter. work punches of your kicks and kicks of your punches more and slow down. start slow.

  • dawg try to develop one solid stance where it all comes from instead of switching sides

  • great kicks! great workout! Top Stuff Keep it up ay

  • what song did you use?

  • a really lame one

  • your kicks seem dominant over your punches so thats what i would work on more if i were u, i thought some of your punches lacked conviction follow through with every move you do and it will increase your strength and stamina, nice work out routine keep up the hard work your far from shit lol jus still room for improvement the same as me, im not trying to b harsh jus some friendly constructive criticism

  • u fucking kick ass man!

  • liking the workout man keep it up.

  • nice routine man! ive started working out to get in shape, and i wanna start either kick-boxing or muay thai. or both.

  • good video 5 stars !

  • pyxz0r???? what was you camparing him to a karate shit or f what? his stands is not bad for kickboxing you fucking karate pussys defend your belly but forget about the head idiots... keep ya head up man good work out

  • @kickboxingLT um you realize ofcourse kickboxing comes from karate right?

  • @BlackGrizzlyWarrior kicboxing is the american style of muay tai, and karate is just some types of defending skills, and some how they manage to break stuffs, but kickboxing aka muay tai is waaay better.

  • You seem to not realise I am not a pro. Also I think you're all talk

  • your sidekicks and spinning back kicks are good.

  • why the hell do you have your shoes on for? in thai land they do it with there bare legs soo you tuffin your legs up, doing it with your shoes on is just makeing your shoes tuff :)

  • I wish someone making bad comments would attend a tournament in Jamaica and see they would be able to walk back to the airport. lol. Keep up the work man. I'm still trying to get that video of the sword form from the Zendo tournament.

  • nice routine, could put some of this into my workout. I enjoyed it you seem to have good fitness and good kicks, hope you do more.

  • Nice vid dude..:D

  • sorry mate you require a lot of work with your kicks ,combos, and foot work as for the hands to slow. fitness not bad but 10 x 3 min rounds with 30 sec breaks you have to fight as strong as the first round to the end . brush up on your skills dont be so messy. look up muay thai kickboxing

  • Nice training! i hope u continue doing videos like this.

  • looks like a great all round work out for an amateur fighter .

  • I personally enjoyed this video. Keep up what works for you.

  • Thanks, I really appreciate it when people enjoy this video. It's what keeps this video up and is going to inspire me to do more vidz. I should just take the hating positively too. I injured my wrist sparring so my workouts aren't all that, but it's getting better and a new camcorder is coming. So look out for more vids soon.

  • Let me make something clear. I'm not a professional athlete or fighter. I just use workouts I know work for me. So don't get the wrong impression that I'm showing anyone else how to work out. I only put this video up for friends to see and someone said I should make it public.

  • thats not training check me out shaun the rock gray see how it done

  • lmao look at 2:00 , im doin kickbox for 4 years now 3 times a week 6 hours total, and i never seen something like that hehe

  • What's wrong with jump squats?

  • When preforming a a shin kick, it is most important to use a instep. Nice video.

  • hahaha! does someone love himself?

  • i agree and GSP does rule!!! hughes is done!!!

  • greta workout man,how many times a week do you do the weigth training part

  • never seen that squat and press before could u tell me more bout it? btw those jump hops do that with a lil kid really effective the weight increases naturally and he/she will have fun :)

  • awesome workout man

  • thanks masterkershaw

yes foo250 I did tkd for many years...it's hard to get rid of it

  • have you done tkd before you look like a tkd guy.

  • Just a safety precaution when you do your over-head presses- if you lift the bar from behind the head it can cause damage to your rotator cuffs (shoulder joints). You're pretty young and strong, so you might not notice it right now, but the wear and tear will add up.

When you do a military/overhead press, keep the bar in front of your face/body when you bring it down.

You've got lots of potential, I'd hate to see that sacrificed for a training injury.

  • Foot work needs work : side stepping advancing, retreating and counter attacking foot work. Positioning essentially.

As for controlling the bag. I let it do what it wants, to simulate a live opponent. I will practice your way as well

  • bags dont hit back..it will never simulate a live opponent.. this is why i said to u at the start get a sparring coach and in that some one who can actually fight.. they will see your bag technical habits...my instructor once told me there is no such thing as a bad student..

  • I've done several styles and snap is different in many styles...all generate power but at different points in different ways. Based on my observation, I need to keep my guard up while protecting my rib cage as well as being more explosive and conditioned. I notice as I go round to round fatigue makes my techniques go to hell.

  • some of the comboes wouldnt be too effective, keep sparring, keep it simple e.i front leg strike, 1-2 back leg strike etc...

1-2 back leg strike 1-2-3 back leg strike.

  • ok.. where to start..from the ground up..the kicks have no snap.. no power.. u keep dropping after each attact..try to control the bag abit more..your hands are all the place.. not that u drop yur gaurd but u leave yur self open to much ..protect yur rib cage more..

  • thanks...I agree with the rib cage thing...but what do you mean by snap?

I'm accustomed to snap from karate and tkd when I used to do those. But now I do a kickboxing art which teaches to swing through the bag and return the leg to the ground as soon as posible, to avoid the leg being caught.

  • yes its the same snap.. u av to bring it back dont be fooled.. this is how u generate power..that snap. even boxers train this way.. wats yur msn ?

  • Just curious...what's your claim to fame? What art do you study?

I'm trying to figure out if there might be a difference in philosophies of fighting?

  • claim to fame?... lets just say i av had a few fights..until humans start growing four arms and four legs fighting is gonna be the same where ever u go.. well when they say keep your guard up and protect your head..there is only one place on the head section that can really knock u out and thats your chin and even then that might not happen... but in the mid drift or around the rid cage solid blow there will put down even the strongest opponent.. but u dont learn this unless u fight

  • yow listen.. i like your energy...but you av too many bad habits.. i suggest u get a sparing coach..u av no control..clearly u are stronger on the right side..u need to learn how to control the bag..

  • thanks for the advice...I do have a coach but as you know improvement doesn't come over night...what bad habits have you spotted so far?

  • try this..jab with the opposite hand u write with..eg. jab with yur left hand.. keep left side forward.. control the bag with yur legs ..light front kick just to keep it from swinging all over.. practice like that for a bit see wat happens..u see in real fighting those high kicks are just fancy stuff..focus on the mid section front kicks and turning kicks(round house.

  • I'll try that. I was more going for power kicks in this vid. Unfortunately the camera I was using has no mic so you can't hear how hard I'm kicking. I'll be getting a camcorder with sound soon. Thanks for the advice again. I'll try what you said.

  • but dont take my word for it go fight..if this is what u love u can only learn.. remember in a real fight if its not over in 3 seconds or less its going to the ground..

i av studied muay thai, itf taekwondo. boxing, and i am just trying a bit of judo, i av competed in thai boxing and in taekwondo tournaments.. and u could say i av had a few street fights... but hey who hasnt?.

i love martial arts of any form and love fighting.

  • another thing is that this video visually helps me pin point some of my weaknesses. For instance, I'm constantly told my hands drop especially when kick. It's never apparent to me because I think I see my hands up. When watching back the video I really realize how low they drop.

  • nice work out!

  • niiiceee mannn!

  • looking good mah fren...make sure you bring back the black sash in October!!!

  • take a litre of mamoth protein after every workout lol itll only take a few weeks then:P

  • mi rate this man

  • a suh u a role dog? if u keep up with this training for atleast a year u'll be able to beat damage...lol good work still, keep it up

  • Thanks

  • nice workout and combinations of punches!
