I used to pretty much hate Matt, now am indifferent. I have only become a fan with Eccleston, and thought that Tennant was near perfection, but am a pretty big fan and even adore just about every other Doctor. I am probably never going to be a Matt fan, because he seems so anti-Tennant (going out of his way to be the opposite of him), and not building on anything that especially the last two predecessors did. They don't seem to care about pissing odd the Tennant fanbase.
another reason russell t davies owns steven moffat when it comes to dr who. moffat cant even be bothered to give us a complete season next year! heres a repeat of 2009.
the aspects your critising Matt Smith for are unfair as they have been aspects that have always been in Doctor Who, there is no fair reason to hate Matt Smith as the Doctor, any one who hates him isn't a fan, and that's the end of it.
@Timelord6661 oh i think your so right and i don't hate him at all i love natt smith as the doctor i was just pointing out the thing i dislike most about him hes still great and as you might know even tho i said he does not do comanding well he has done the best seen of that kind at the secound last ep and yes you half to like all the doctors a bit to like doctor who even tho there are some doctors of the old seasons i don't like verymuch
.... clumsy around girls, the Aztecs (A William Hartnell) is a prime example of that, he accidently gets married in that story due to making mistakes that's part of the charm, he can do all these amazing things but it tripping over his laces at the sight of women, and the whole irresponsible thing as a whole makes complete sense, in the sense that the Doctor more or less encourages people to take risks and to take part in dangerous tasks, for the good of the world...
You've just given examples as to why your own argument has no backing, there are also so many more examples e.g. Time of Angel's cliffhanger, The Doctor's Wife (in the latest series) he warns an unknown alien to fear him as he has killed of his race, and what are you on about 'too weird to play the Doctor' have you seen any of the classic episodes, the Doctor is supposed to be like that, watch some Tom Baker stuff and then tell me that Matt is out of character. Yeah the Doctor is somewhat.....
