This WAS recorded at two different sessions, on different days: part 1 on December 21, 1937- part 2 on December 29th (with Ziggy Elman sitting in on trumpet).
My first exposure to this tune was in the late 1950's when, believe it or not, Louis Prima and Keely Smith did a recording of this tune.
I thought that the Andrews Sisters' rendition was the biggest hit, however, I think that this instrumental by Benny Goodman Sextet is the consumate version.
