  • ugh, the new narration is HORRIBLE. return to old tomorrowland, disney! no more buzz, no more monsters inc, no more stitch! tomorrowland is no longer about the future, it's about advertising new movies! bring back dreamflight, bring back timekeeper, and bring back alien encounter!!!!!

  • Disney World isn't in Orlando: It's in Lake Buena Vista, FL. Try Googling it. It's DisneyWorld Hotel that's in Orlando. I think you got them confused.

  • i never heard anything about them redoing this, when did that happen?

  • after 4:30 the lights were on! when I went on it it was dark. most people said these rides are kinda creepy with the lights on

  • AttractionsMagazine do you play basketball? you need to see this - (50-inch-vertical[dot]com). it s highly recommended! I m 5 8 and started dunking after just 2 months of the program!

  • What kind of camera was used to record this?

  • awesome

  • Yeah the narration isn't great..but I love the new red and blue lighting. I love the feeling of being at Disney especially at night, riding the rides like this and splash mountain!

  • Oh thanks so much for posting this! I love Disney World at night and there are very few quality videos of it on youtube! Thanks so much again, theres nothing like walking through the Magic Kingdom at night. Thanks so much, you just made my day 100000xx better!

  • The new lighting is amazing---but in the five years since I last rode,it still has the same problem, particularly in the tunnels into/out of Space Mountain and the Buzz Lightyear ride building---there's nothing to look at.

I'm not suggesting they put full-blown animated scenes in there, but they need something---fiber-optic lights, holograms, static displays,eye-level miniatures---as a design element, darkness only works if you're trying to generate fear.

  • New narration < Old narration.

  • People @ 2:12 are wasting their time...that ride sucks.

  • Love this ride. When we went to Disneyworld back in 2008, we rode this at least 20 times. Great way for us to relax during the heat of the day especially with kids.

  • This was one of the best videos of a Disney attraction I've seen yet. The camera work was fantastic. Truely gave me 10 minutes where I felt I was on one of my favorite rides at one of my favorite places. Great job, thanks for sharing!

  • Why does Disney keep doing this? They take an awesome creation (like Spaceship Earth or Journey Into Imagination) and ruin it by turning it into something else. I loved the old narration on this ride. " *Ding* Now approaching Space Mountain..."

  • wow ur doin it when a thunder storm is goin on..... O_o

  • wow. i guess i need to see this ride. Really looks better since the update!!

  • i don't understand what's so great about this ride,it's just a glorified tram ride!

    i think it's sorta boring!

  • @ROSE911GUNDAM, it's one of those rides that just becomes part of tradition. It's almost always possible to walk right up to it and get on with no waiting in line, which is great by itself. Also, when you're really tired from all the walking and waiting in line for all the other rides, it's very relaxing. Many times, I've just about laid down in the seats! And the scenery is really cool, especially for someone who loves futuristic, spacey kind of stuff.

  • I love the TTA! We are leaving for a 10 day trip in just 2 months, our first in nearly 3 years! It will be my daughters first trip to see Mickey!

  • yeah one of the best til they ruined it

  • this is one of my favorite rides at disney world

  • is this in disney land or disney world??

  • Disney World in Orlando.

  • @tinseltownchick Thats at Disney World.Planning to check it out when we go on vacation the 6th of June.

  • The new night lighting looks great!

  • Its amazing how different the park looks at night.

I like the old narration better. If they kept the "Paging Mr. Morrow, Mr. Tom Morrow." part I would have like the new one just as much as the old, but it could be worse. They could have got rid of the the attraction alltogether. I shutter at the thaught.

  • me too..the old narration had a mysteriousness to it..this is corny and kiddy sounding..

  • Just drive. Getting there is half the fun. I've always driven. its cheaper too.

  • Well to me its kind of like the OLD narration. I mean the one before the previous one. This is the 3rd narration its had and it brings back childhood memories for me. Yeah its not as flashy and cartoony as the last one but i kinda like this one better. Just my opinion though.

  • @jimmyboy99 The fourth. There was the Jack Wagner narration from 1975 to 1985. Then there was ORAC-1 from 1985 to 1994. Then there was the Pete Renaday TTA Central narration from 1994 to 2009, and this one since 2009.

  • This is a superb ride thru of TTA, thanks! Yeah, I don't like the new narration as much, but still, its such an enjoying ride.

  • I really wish that we could make a petition to get the old narration back.. Seriously, the magic's gone. Would Disney even listen...?

  • just came back from there....this is like one of my favorite rides and Disney just hadddddddd to change the narration...i was kinda disappointed. boo..not fair.

  • the narration is so cheesy it makes me nauseous. and no more paging mr. morrow? first they add a cheesy narration to backlot, now they go and ruin this too. i am so upset. the new neon lights are very cool, but that's about the only positive thing i have to say.

  • Wow, I'm impressed with the image and sound quality of this video! The clarity is great! By the way, the new narration is nice, but there was something cool and science fictiony about the old narration that I really enjoyed. I loved hearing things like, "Now arriving at Space Mountain--Tomorrowland's gateway to the galaxies!"

  • Space Mountain's Star Tunnel music has gone D:

  • Anyone know what the Space Mountain TTA narration is now that it's open?

  • They probably had to update the narration because of new attractions like Stitch's Great Escape! and Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor Comedy Club. Neither of those attractions were referenced in the Pete Renaday narration, but it's a good thing that they added references to them for Mike Brassell's new narration. It's a little startling to hear Stitch during the introduction of Stitch's Great Escape. But they could have picked Mike instead in the narration referring to Laugh Floor.

  • I REALLY hate the new narration. So cheesy. That old one was so cool.

  • HMMM... STILL LOOKS DATED TO ME.

  • 21st November they are suppost to be re-opening Space Mountain

  • I love that the narration mentions people watching. Very funny that they would put that in. Not too happy with the space mounain scene though because the lights really destroy the atmosphere. Bad show.

  • well...how will they work if they keep the lights off? Lights are on for safety reasons

  • Oh. Makes sense. I never thought of it like that.

  • ah sorry, didn't see the poster saying winter 09

  • any ideas when space mountain's reopening and what they're doing to it ? are they making it more like the one in paris ? that is SUCH a good ride!

  • no. more like tokyo...

  • I need to re-visit Disneyworld. I went once when I was 8 but now I'm 24 and need to go again!

    =)

  • The new narration isn't bad, but it's going to take a while to get used to. Was that a remix of the music from the old Dream Flight attraction at 9:20?

  • make it go faster lol

  • Those construction workers are so lifelike!

  • Much more practical than those rockerodes... definetly great idea to get the old people mover track going again.

  • This is at Walt Disney World, not Disneyland.

  • disneyworld

  • They really should make an effort for their sake to cover up the nasty construction, it just makes everything look a bit tacky in my opinion :/

  • why- ?

  • i find it quite interesting! little kids love to peak into a construction area at disney, so its a bit of a "magical moment" when they see what they think is being covered...ex: riding tta is a way to "sneak a peak" and disney doesnt know you found a way around it

  • I totally agree with that, BUT, I guess my major complaint is the silence in the actual narration during the section when they are in the construction of Space Mountain. It would have at least been nice to have some music playing or something.

  • I rode on this once, when I was a kid, now I'm 30 and I want to try it again

  • I've been there so many times this summer & that ride was closed. I'm disappointed that the narration was changed.. I hate when they do that..

I see they have a wall up so you can't see the new track.. RATS!! Thanks for posting this though!!

  • I guess Tom Morrow finally answered that page huh?

  • it's been closed since April 19th. I remember 'cause i had just gotten here, and then it closed on my birthday.

  • Check around 6:01 for info.

  • it'll b nice 2 c the new space mountian

  • this thing would make a good in-park shuttle

  • What time was it?

  • This was recorded around 8:00 p.m. on the night of October 14, 2009.

  • NEW RIDE SPIEL?

  • Yes, the narration was changed within the last couple of weeks.

  • AWESOME!

  • i love this ride. i was on it like a few weeks ago. It was creepy to see space mountain with the lights on haha
