One of the greatest bands lind. But somehow i always seem to get dissapointed when i buy there cd´s. Guess some bands was made to performe in front of a audience.
love the music.. BUT they flaked out of a show in el paso, at the last minute, cause they didnt like the venue.. thought it was too small or something. definately kind of lame. oh well, still love em.
great technically, but I don't think it works so well for the type of song "Don't Let me Down" is. Still, love that they're doing Beatles covers and getting the crowd into it
Why would you think it doesn't work for the type of song it is? Are you saying that a soulful love song can't be done with reggae/rocksteady music? Do you realize that ska and reggae are the Jamaican form of soul? Would you say that someone like Marvin Gaye (if alive) would not do it justice either?
@basher903 heh... I commented that three years ago. But it still stands. You can't go wrong with The Beatles, but a lot of people go wrong playing The Beatles. I think this cover is pretty close to the original in spirit.
I just heard an advance of their upcoming "Reggae Hit L.A." disc...wow...these guys have that vintage reggae rock steady sound down pat. They could have released the CD in mono & stamped an early 1970's date on it and snowed everyone into believing this stuff was era material. Amazing!!!
because they play good ole reggae and not stupid dancehall shit like Sean Paul with halfnaked chicks in their videos shaking their fat ass in the camera?
Well this isn't exactly old reggae, just an adaptation of The Beatles' "Don't Let Me Down" which is one of the great statements of the departed John Lennon (RIP). Anyhow...yes, the Aggros kick ass :)
your an idiot for attacking dancehall when you have no idea anything about it. reggae evolved into dancehall dumb dumb. they are cut from the same tree. believe me if a real islander played ole reggae as you say they would have fat asses shaking in the camera too.

Exactly! Some bands just need to record live only. The way it was meant to be heard. Nothing compared to live reggae, ska, rocksteady, etc..
