@alawson911 - To be honest, I have written my congressmen many times about a number of issues, each time with canned responses from those leaders that doesn't actually address any issues I've brought up. It's depressing, but I do try to speak out, mail those in congress, and spend my money and vote only for those that agree with my specific views. Unfortunately most american's are selfish and lazy, and are too preoccupied with reality TV and materialism to care about what goes on in the world.
