thisthis was the first night in chicago. this was nov 21 2008 and i was there. this wasnt the third. he cancelled the 2nd show cause he got to sick. and then came back a third time later
I thought it was a great cover, not HORRIBLE. Also, they played alot more songs than most other bands that night, and put on quite a good show, leaving 90% of the crowd happy. My guess is that everyone at the first Chicago show had the same mindset as you, causing a lackluster crowd. It's good that you're a "true fan" but it doesn't give you any special privileges. As a big Pumpkins fan myself, I can not believe why people thought this show was "HORRIBLE". It was the complete opposite
he was sick and still managed to play for 2+ hours. that's more than you'll get from most bands on a good night. and i think it's great that they played so many rarities. you don't get to hear live versions of them too often.
He was sick, they postponed the next night's show. I saw them the following monday in Kansas City, they played an encore, 1 song, the crowd was about the same, and he was still a bit under the weather he said.
people were sat down and walked out during the acoustic songs...wtf...no effing respect...it was a great show everything i expected...but billy got pissed because the crowd sucked and he wasn't feeling terribly well...people need to grow the fuck up...they only wanna hear the old shit like bullet. when you go to a pumpkins concert expect the musical collage. great show...shitty crowd...we didn't deserve the encore...this version was awesome...i had a blast...pumpkins are awesome
Not the rest of the crowd... People booed, others were still yelling after waiting around some 20 minutes after he walked off stage. I, for one, was very disappointed.

Any chance you've got the rest of the night's shows?
Can't say I was thrilled with the ending of the show. Right after Bullet it went downhill pretty fast...

Umm, giving up? He fucked up his throat so the show had to end. And horrible? I think the rest of the crowd believes otherwise.
