Please do not comb your hair with that little comb, you will have no hair left!! LOL. You should apply it with your hands and on soaking wet hair. Let us know how it works.

but .. when i first used kccc i put in the condish and detangled then rinsed it a Bit. not a Lot. so there was still some in. then i combed the custard through my hair in sections.

and i thought i did it wrong b/c some of my ends weren't curling [since i had just gone natural i had a few relaxed ends]. so i brushed over it all with my Denman. and that really made the difference.

but to address your question about how to apply to products, this is what i do: wash or co-wash, rinse, then apply the KT.

now..for the KCCC if you apply too much, your hair will be sticky, white and take FOREVER to dry. you'll learn what works best for your head.

i would section your hair and apply the KCCC to each section. maybe even twist each section&let it dry over night then untwist and style in the morning.

ok..use the come clean shampoo, knot today (love it as a leave in even withouth the KCCC) then put the KCCC.

I have a twa so i use my fingers but i would assume that you should do it in shower with denman.

it smells good but looks like snot...like gook. but its a-ok when u see the results

you are soooo funny lol. i bought the same thing about a week ago luv, luv, luv it! It's best to use in the shower, and with the thickness of your hair, i wouldn't suggest using such a small tooth comb. I used a wide tooth comb, and your right for 12 bucks i'm keeping my knot today in til xmas too lol. but from what i've researched on here and what i've experienced so far you should always use the knot today and kccc together. Oh wow... new packaging... I have tons of it but I want to reorder just for the new packaging. You are very very entertaining! I say shingle with it! I have the 32 oz knot today... I put it in the shower and just kind of detangle but try not to rinse it all out and then I shingle with Curling Custard. Be careful though a little goes a long way.

I would try rubbing it in with your hands section-by-section, piece-by-piece on soaking wet hair since your curl pattern is already developed. Try a comb next time
