  • pause at 0:04 for 8==D~ FACE

  • @MrBlooCola 0:05 is even bigger

  • Press 6 for gay black guy XDDDDD

  • lol, if you can pick it up off the bench THAT fast, then there's no way it should come down that fast

  • I know right I'm 14 and I can do my weight on bench (175)

  • martin lawrence was a amateur boxing champ and golden gloves holder in his younger days, im sure he could bench 185 easily... i dare anyway to prove otherwise

  • 185 is easy, like c'mon and I'm 17...

  • lol its funny how he picks it up like it is nothing, then it comes crashing down.

  • Keep pressing 4. ML does a lot of reps

  • Martin Lawrence can definitely bench at LEAST 185. I can't believe some people think it's actually real lol. Either fake weights the way he moved around after it was on his chest, or he can do well over 200 pounds. I think he can bench 225+ probably

  • keep pressing 6

  • I agree with you, it is possible, like you said with training. But I guess this movie implies that Marcus burnette (Martin Lawrence), doesn't work out often? Anyways I know that I am 6'1'' tall 200lbs, I started lifting weights about a couple months ago, when I started, my max was 155lbs. So this scene if very much possible if Marcus Burnette never works out. In the movie he just walks into the gym because of the investigation, not specifically to work out.

  • wat gym is this @ in miami?

  • Average male bench press is definitely NOT 135 lol

  • @BehemothSuper actually, it is in that range. Keep in mind, it's taking into account the vast majority of people who don't work out at all.

  • You guys don't realize, 185 is kind of alot. He prolly weighs, what, 170-180? It's more than his bodyweight. The average male bench press is 135 lbs. Prolly accurate enough.

  • @wontonking average male bench press is 315

  • @llrond The average male bench press is no where near 315, think about the entire world. The vast majority of human males don't even work out. All of the people in 3rd world account into the average. People are considered athletic if they can bench thier own bodyweight. Look it up, I said 135 because it said that on numerous websites.

  • @wontonking im not taking the whole world into consideration, only in the U.S. If you're talking about untrained average male, then yes, the bench is significant low. But a well-trained average joe with everything pushed to the limit, has the potential to get that 315 easily. I know it because i'm a 5'3 135lbs asian, with probably the worst genetic ever, yet i manage to bench 225 after 4 years of training. Average Joe is 5'10 200lbs, how is it not possible to bench 315 with hard work?

  • @llrond its certainly possible with hard work and time, but after all that hard work and time have been put in that person is no longer benching like an average joe

  • @llrond lol Even at your 5'3 135lb frame, your bench press is significantly higher than the average person. average male (untrained and trained factored in together) bench press is 135lb max. The number is so low because the vast majority of people don't train so this brings the average down. 315lb max is intermediate-advanced even by trained standards. This is coming from someone who has done 415lb as his best flat bench press by the way.

  • lol keep repeating :03 over and over again

  • Hahahaha, this guy is hilarious.

  • haahhahahaahhahaahahahahahahahahahahhahhaahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaahhhahhaahhaaahahhaahhaahhaaahhahahahahahhhahahahahhaahhaahahahhaahahahahahahhaahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaahahahahaahahhhaaahahhhaahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

  • LMFAO

  • Too bad it wasn't Will Smith. Smith reportedly was benching 385 before he started shooting I, Robot.

  • @JBeatty17 - I can see that as his max, but not for reps. He had a boxers build in I robot.

  • @neoc03- Yeah, that was for max, not reps.

  • lmfaoo!
