so yomamafool1 bro. the BOTTOMLINE was that the MONGOLOID RACE or Tibeto-Burmese people settled in the Himalayas region including Nepal first. This is also proven from Archeology excavation in Nepal, Sikkim that MONGOLOID RACE were alreay living in the Himalayas region for past 10, 000 years. So when the Aryan ppl started advacing towards Himalayas region (Nepal, Assam, Sikkim) some millenium later and came in CONTACT with Mongoloid race, they term the Mongoloid people as Kirat.

So in Nepal the various ethnic group - rai,limbu,grg, magar, channtyal, tamang, sherpas, thakali, etc are classified as MONGOLOID RACE according to the Anthropology classification. These are the same ppl, the Aryan(sub group of Caucasoid) refer to as KIRAT in Sanskrit. According to scholars, historian and anthropologist, ethnic group such as grg, tamang, sherpas, thakali came down from Tibet and others came up from Burma, hence in Anthropological are referred as Tibeto-Burmese.

@yomamafool1, people from Mongolia are called Mongolian. Any people that are oriental appearance(i.e same lookalike like chinese,japanese, mongolian, korean, etc) are termed as MONGOLOID RACE in anthropology. Other race being Negroid and Caucasoid. Google to start with.

Secondly scholars have already identified that the Himalayas region is a melting pot in the ancient time where various RACE came & settled down. From the archeological discovery it is proven that Mongoloid race was here first.

These Tharu are not Rana Tharus then, they are decndants of rajput women and thier male servants who came to Nepal several hundred years ago.

@kumarsa108 Tharus are native Nepalese. But today there are many indian immigrants coming into Nepal and claiming Nepali land as theirs. Native Nepalese must unite and fight the Indian invasion into Nepal.

You will pick over 3,000 years old settlers against 5,000 years old settlers, but you will claim the Kiratas are indiginous, but not later people, yet there is evidence that older people than Kiratas lived in what is now Nepal. i.e Gopalas and Abhiras. Nepal is poorer than India, it makes little sense that Indians want to immigrate there. In the past during islamic conquest yes. Rana Tharus came in the medieval era.

Mongoloid race in Nepal came from the north --> China, Mongolia

and south --> Burma, Vietnam

The Aryan came from Iran, India.

Bottom line. The Mongoloid race were already living in the Himalayas region including Nepal before the Aryan arrived in the later period. Neolithic tools and human skulls recovered from Kathmandu valley and Sikkim proved that Mongoloid race has been living in the Himalayas for past 9,000 years.

Even Aryan own ancient scriptures and book such as veda and puranas mentioned the Himalayas region as "Kiratdesh" upon trans. is land of Kiratas.

The Aryan clearly described again in their book about the appearance of Kiratas as "gold-like" or yellowish color thus confirming to Mongolian race. @diliprai This is really getting small minded, but actually the Aryans came through central Asia and Afghnainstan, not Iran/Persia. Those via Persia were the later Moghuls i.e Mongol descendants. Also those Mongols who came via Burma were very much an intermingled people as they have always done intermarried into older austaloid peoples. They were also later migration into India. There is no Kiratdesh in the Vedas since Desh is not Sanskrit it is a derivation of Sanskrit used in modern languages

@diliprai It also makes no difference if the Vedas mention Kiratas, it never states they occupy the whole Himalaya and also if we listen to you, they were later peoples so how on earth can the vedas say anything of the older races before the Kiratas. Bottom line to claim a people who migrated thousands of years ago have no claim to the land they rule, well im afraid few people will buy that. it is beyond petty.

@kumarsa108 the bottom line is that the 99% Nepalese government are formed by Aryan race, the same race who came from Iran, India. The Aryan rulers in Nepal have been practicing corruption, discrimination and nepotism. Many indigenous Nepalese were categorize into dalits(untouchables). Tharus were made as bonded laborer (kamiya) and those that couldn't be enslave allowed the British to recruit them into their army. This is how Aryan has been ruling Nepal ever since. But people are awaken now.!
