I felt really stupid after watching that video...

  • Comment removed

  • @psychochickendelivry because me, like many other serious cubers, are used to the white color scheme, not the black... dumbo

  • @ABQMagni5 im a serious cuber and i prefer black stickers on my white cubes because im used to it, i still use black cubes with white stickers so i guess my cubes are interracial XD

  • @ABQMagni5

    Really, serious cubers?

  • @psychochickendelivry The white color scheme is clearly better.

  • @psychochickendelivry they can choose whatever color they want ok??

  • FAG

  • Hey.

All i have is GLIDEX silicone spray...

It is made from 100% pure silicone oil,

    but will it work?

  • @besse889 worth a try. sounds just fine.

  • lol when u duty it sounded like doody..:P anyway thanks for the tips :3

  • Why is your cube semi-circular, AKA retarded?

  • You seem to have SOME experience with "lubrication"...

Anybody who doesnt get the obvious sex joke is a fag. Thanks.

  • can i use jigaloo on my black v-cube

  • No no no no no no. It will work for about a week, but over time (2 months at least) it will eat way at your cube from the inside out. Never use any oil based lubricants. I you care about your cube, I recommend you actually go out and buy some silicone spray.

  • You didn't actually tell us how to lubricate a 7x7x7 cube... Kinda defeats the whole objective of the video in the first place...

  • I never said that I would tell you how to lubricate it. If you have a $70 7x7 I assume you would have a 3x3 as well, so it's kinda common sense.

  • @supermariogalaxy01 I never said i would. the title doesnt directly say that i'd show you how to lubricate it. I you yould go out to buy a 7x7, i would assume you have some cube expirience, also some lubrication of your cubes expirience as well. you lubricate it the same way a 3x3...

  • @ABQMagni5 The title says "7x7x7 Lubrication". The title says to all of us that it is a video about you lubricating a V-Cube 7x7x7. A title like "Lubricated 7x7x7" would be a much better title for the video.

  • awsome, but i like the smooth solid feeling it has from the factory...it seeems like it would get out of controll and annoying. but whatever thats just my opinion

  • I have that same Stackmat!!

  • @Snorney what is stackmat for?

  • @BUGHULK Well the stack mat is actually used for Speed stacks, a cup stacking game, but they use the same timers in WCA competitions. Stack mat is the actual cloth that is on his table. I used it b/c it helps cushion the fall when I put my cubes down.

  • @BUGHULK A stack mat is simply for Speedstacks. It is a game that you stack cups in various ways and time yourself. The mat helps hold the cups in place and so it doesn't slide around. That is what a stackmat is :D

  • maybe i have a weird one. When ever I lube mine, it gets worse for a couple weeks, then it wore off and it became nice again. Lube it got worse for a couple weeks again until it wore off. kind of odd, lol

  • thats wat mine does wat brand of lube?

  • crc heavy duty silicone

  • oh i usde liqid wrench so thats probly why

  • it doesnt doesnt exlain why mine is that way. maybe i over do it??? I'll try a very light spray next time see if that works

  • that happened to me

  • @jdouglasusn My big cubes also gets worse when they are lubed.. And then again it wears in/off and then, for me, it gets better than it was before lubing :)

  • jigaloo doesnt make ANY difference but to destroy the stickers from v company and may fuse it together if u dont de it properly

  • Really? huh... All silicones/lubricants may fuse it together if you don't work it around.

  • its hard to find but crc's food grade is better

  • Really? OK! Thanks!

  • can't you see...many people comment that ask you how to lube it...

  • Well, if they have the 7x7 in the first place, I'd assume that they would already have some expirience with the 3x3 and how to lubricate that. But then after I got all the comments, I put it in the description.

  • stop talking and just lubricate that cube...

  • And, how would that help you?

  • do you reccomend vaseline or crc silicon for the vcube 5 white

  • Sillicone!!! Vaseline destroys the cube from the inside - out.

  • thx

  • sure!

  • poptheman1 did you seriously ask that question

  • ha lol, I'm sure we have all asked that once. lol

  • i bought my 7x7x7 and sprayed silicone in it like i would all my other cubes but i just found out that the 6x6 and 7x7 you have to take apart to lube it cause silicone forms like a glue wow i guess you live you learn so for ppl who bought a new 7x7 or 6x6 dont just spray in silicone cause it glues your layers with each other

  • Hhmm, I guess it depends on the sillicone and how the type of sillicone reacts the the cubes plastic. It also depends on how much sillicone you actually spray in the cube. The way I spray it is, I find a gap in the cube, and spray two quick squirts in the cube. And you're correct. I do find a gluey stickness to it. But as long as I break in the sillicone right after I lubricated the cube for a good 5 minutes it should work fine.

  • All give it to you straight, Jig-a-loo is ok, but use it at ur own risk. This is from personal experience, and ive heard other people having the same issue. If ur not careful and u put too much it will melt the plastic and fuse together peices. Dont be paranoid, just be careful. I sitll reccomend silicon spray cuz u can use as much as u want

  • cool! Thanks!

  • NICE! WHite stickers!

  • Thanks! White Stickers FTW!

  • I know man! Please tell me! What does FTW Mean? I can never figure it outt.

  • For The Win!

  • ok thanks man!

  • Sure!

  • Could I just take the stickers off my yellow side and make it white :P

  • Sure!

  • actually if u lubed it with silicon without disassembling it and letting it evaporate it will act as glue

  • Oh, Wow! I didn't know that, thanks!

  • it wil only turn to glue if the you don't work it in

  • Yeah, Its happened to me a little bit in the past...

  • if you lube your cube with silocon does it start off sticky but then get alot better cause i lube my today and it got abit sticky and doesn't go as fast... ya i know that what she said real mature

  • Yes, that is what usually happens when you lube a cube. Haha, nice one...

  • for how long

  • 3-5 minutes

  • So, black cubes act differently to white cubes. Has racism moved on to V-Cubes?

  • lol, no, this is only about cubes.

  • maybe the dirt that went inside sanded the inner mechanism slightly and made it better.

  • Ha, mabye it did!

  • how did u get the white 7x7 ?

  • It came this way.

  • did u actually buy it on the site cause i only see the black one

  • Yes, I bought it atthe V-cubes website.

    I see both colors there...

  • i thought this was a tutorial on how to lube it.

    i was wrong!

  • Well, anyone who watched this video probably had/has expirience with 3x3 lubrication, It is pretty much the same concept.

  • i spilled monster on my v7 so i took it all apart, placed all the pieces of one color in a bag, and the edges in their own bad and sprayed silicone in the bags and shook it all up, then cleaned the pieces 1 at a time as i assembled the cube and now it turns really great, now im glad i spilled monster on it lol

  • Ha! Thats great!

  • monster?

  • monster energy drink, spilled it all over 3 different puzzles and it got inside and stuck it together when it dried, good think silicone breaks that up =)

  • the brands dont really matter that much

    its all silicone based lubricant

  • Yeah, They are all pretty much the same!

  • lol wow look at exactly 43 seconds, it looks like he spun it all the way around but i think he spun it then turned the video camera off and fixed it and started filming again

  • Good eye! Yes your correct, that just happened to be like that when I edited it.

  • lol it looked like it was super slick, like impossibly slick!

  • lol Yeah...

  • Comment removed

  • oh yeah i have sub to your videos

  • Thanks a bunch!

  • how do i lube it??

  • At around 2:10 , take out those two peices like I did (with my thumb) and either spray it in, or use the little straw to spray it in.

  • if i do that i only spray the corner

  • that could work...

  • you will break your cube and it will slow down if you do that. if you use silicon it can act as a bonding agent if it's not completely dried. So when you rotate it when the silicon has dried then the pieces may chip and create plastic dust in the cube, thus making it drag.

  • so it will first be really sticky and the when the spray is dried inside it will work really good?

  • cause mine is really sticky at the moment

  • take it completely apart and spray it all down, thats what i did and it's not that hard to put together as long as you don't lose any pieces. if it dries while inside it will stick pieces with each other. it will work but not as well and completely disassembling cuz the plastic dust it creates can drag your cube

  • so i could not take it apart and it would still work sometime but if i take it apart and let it dry and put it back together it woulk work even better?

  • yeah

  • Oh yeah, thats true...

  • ok thanks very very very very much!!

  • sure thing!

  • What an amazing cube! Now i know how to LUB mine!! Thanks!!!

  • Glad to help! Please subscribe for more upcomming helpful videos!

  • thats a great cube

  • Thanks. I know!

  • does the v-cube 5 act that nicely to that much lube cuz I just got one!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Cool! I'm not sure...

  • they act like a happy kid dude its awesome!

  • LOL!
