would someone tell me why i cannot find any store, not even on Amazon, where they sell toilet bolt caps which are tall enough to cover those long friggin bolts without having to cut them? seems like a no brainer, since every toilet I ever replaced had the bolts too long for the bolt caps (and i hate sawing the bolts, especially when i mess up the new toilet with scratches).
@catambay - Thanks for responding. I started using the all plastic bolts with taller caps. This allows me to install a new toilet without having to go through the chances of damage or aggressively cutting the bolts. I'm diehard brass user but the plastic bolts seem to work just well.
