I don't think sara enjoyed this gig from all the videos you've posted =P. more yelling than normal and sometimes i saw sara shake her head during it. although you were there, what vibe did you get?

i kind of did get that... which was sad because it was their first show in like two and a half months at that point. they seemed to be in kind of quiet moods too, strangely. luckily some of the later shows seemed a bit better...

aw, i don't think it's wrong at all! i think it epitomizes the struggle they were going through when they were starting out and fighting for their own identities, and now is kind of like a tribute to how far they've come. the part that always fascinates me is that, standing back to back to play it, as identical twins, they literally are one that was divided... and yet urging to "live your life "as if" you're one," not "AS one" because they're not one... they're each always half of two. yeah.

she does that because she wrote the song for sara... i know i have videos of her talking about that. she wrote it when they were graduating from high school and they were fighting over whether to keep playing music (tegan wanted to but sara wanted to go to college). so now it's kind of a tribute to how far they've come... but yeah, it's about sara, so that's why. :)
