Multiplex Minimag & Twinstar in Whitstable

i have a 1050KV/58g Brushless with 3S 2000Lipos, the Motor fits well and the plane goes straight up ;)

what motor and prop do you have installed on the minimag? I used a 7x5 prop with a 400 motor but hasn't enough power to carry anything bigger than a 7.4v 2200 lipo.

The standard 400 motor is too gutless so we tried a 480, but replaced it with a cheap brushless outrunner motor instead. Much better!
