What I like to do for school presentations to keep the students interested is to have the introductory slide an interesting picture and for the other slides, i will use that same picture as a background except i will set the color for washout so it will still be interesting but not over the top. I did that video thing ONLY ONCE for an English class presentation on a term paper i had to write. On the presentation i got a 100% but on the paper i got an "F." True Story.
