@Patryk737 Hows the file size there? Isn't uncompressed far too large? At least in my experience, I sacrificed a bit of quality to save space and upload time. Mind you I haven't edited any real footage for almost a year now.
@Wickiam size of uncompressed avi is huge. That is why we are using x264 codec to compress it 10 or even more times, saving the same quality. There is not better codec;D
/watch?v=R8u5XAzknO8 16 minutes of movie in full HD using x264 codec= 500- 700 mb, that is awesome, dont you think?
You can also compress mpeg 2 to .mp4 x264. Takes less time to compress but quality is a little bit worst (The pac man new generation movie is comrpressed MPEG-2).
Yeah, it's a kind of lens flair. Is this all in-camera? or are you putting filters and stuff on in post? It looks really professional. How is it in low light? Can you do a night test?
Can you please please please tell me your settings for 0:09 ? please :D

what format file format you get after rendering in sony vegas? and how huge was file after rendering
Patryk737 1 year ago
@Patryk737 sorryf or the late reply. Around 60 mbs, for this clip. I always render the file to .wmv
Wickiam 1 year ago
@Wickiam Well, I found professional way to render a video:D
Uncompressed avi or MPEG 2 and x264 codec (.mp4). Even TV and film productions are using this method.

@Patryk737 Holy shit, that is great. So do you render out in AVI first, then re-render it out in x264?

@Wickiam Yes.

I did that in post.
I film in a mode on a camera that sets the gain to 0, so there is no grain, and makes colour correcting way easier and a hell of a lot less pixely.
I'm going to do a low light test soon.
It's quite good, due to the feature that allows you to set it to 0 gain, thus no forced light, and no grainy image quality.
Wickiam 2 years ago
and i'm not even pushing full quality, this was filmed at 12mbps, at 1440,1080,
I can bump it up to 24mbps at 1920,1080.
Full HD.
I love this camera.

How are you achieving those blur effects that creep into frame?
PetroxExplorer 2 years ago
In which shot? If you're talking about that smear blur, it's just an angled blur.
