Saw this with the Sonshine camp that I volunteer at. One I want to thank you for keeping the kids quiet. Then I want to say, I was suicidal, and I know a few people who are. I have often wondered how God could ever love me because I have a lot in my life. I don't have a very good relationship with my dad, either. He ignores me and never says he loves me. Even when I tell him I love him, he barely acknowledges my existence. This really got my attention, as you could probably tell.Thank you

God loves everybody. He died on the cross for everybody not just some people. And it wasn't a easy death it was long and painful death. Then he rose on the 3rd day. Later Acceded into Heaven.

As I know Him, and have known Him all my life, God is not an angry, judgemental dictator. He is my Father. He knows what is good for me, and directs me towards goodness. Does He give me what is perfect immediately? No. No dad I know of drags their kids to the doctor when they are adults, nor rewards their children regardless of whether they make him proud or not. So God also expects us to eventually grow up and start taking responsibility for what we do. He loves us, but He is not a mollycoddle.
