@umayra786 I cant decide either. I'm thinking iphone 3gs because great interface, fast and essentially is an ipod, but then I'm loosing on camera spec that the n97 mini has. I have a n96 at the moment and the video/ camera quality is simply the best I've seen.

I haven't tried out the 3gs yet but I'm worried the video recording will be dire, any feedback from anyone? Thanks

I getting a new cellephone soon and I'v got to choose between The Iphone 3gs or Nokia N97 and I think that the N97 is better becouse the full quary and camera and other stuff but when the Ovi Store will have more things its will have more apps and games so I prefer N97.

If you go with the iphone, then dont expect a long battery lif, n97:ns battery life is much longer plus you can transfer musik to n97 using mass storage mode, you dont have to use pc suite if you dont want to. And as of iphone, you will have to use itunes, real shitty if you are at a friends place and u want some of his music when he doesnt have itunes or the right cable.

Well the truth is that most of you ppl thinks that all the apps is at ovi store, witch isn't true, there are hundreds os useful apps floating around the net, plus the n97 has much more apps that are "useful" compared to iphone that has like 10 % useful apps, the rest is bullshit, the rest is try once apps and throw them away later.

That's strange cos Im listening to the radio on my iPod touch right now :S I actually can get to millions of radio stations, millions I've never even heard of! And iPod and iPhone supports YouTube, either through the normal Internet way, the mobile version, or the Youtube app it comes with, which is alot better than the site actually, and there's millions of things iPhone does that Nokia N97 doesn't, I've tried out the N97 an I don't like it, that's why I'm gonna get iPhone 3GS

The nokia n97 is a very big disappointment. I bought the phone for $540 I sold it for $440 48 hours later. The phone made me angry on so many levels. It lags, speaker quality is horrible, unresponsive, picture thumbnails take forever to load 5mp camera is questionable. The very first iPhone is light years ahead of this phone. I hate this phone so much. On a scale of 1-10 this phone is a -16. The 3G S is to Harry Kimani as the N97 is to William Hung

The N97 video quality is not that great, N82 seems better at video. innoV8 and N86 are in a class of their own for phone imaging. Probably the best 2 mobile devices for photo/video.

All my 5 phones have been Nokia. They make tough and solid phones i say and never had a problem failing on me. But I have gone iphone now and its the best phone ive ever owned to suit my needs. I think the n97 has camera overkill ( i have a cannon sx1 is i want to take good pictures) i also dislike the keyboard. and the price is ridiculous.

but the n97 doesn't have 65.000 apps right? and the 3GS has 256mb of RAM, I think apple will use that RAM to put Flash in it. It has all the RAM it needs.N97 has 128mb RAM and has flash. Apple didn't put flash in previous iphones because they think it slows it down too much, but now I don't think this problem still exists.

I love nokia, I always did and always will, but I got an iphone 3gs as b-day gift, and let me tell you, it kills all the other phones and no doubt about it, the camera is great, battery is great, 32gb memory, and you can do so many cool things with it, the only thing missing for me personally in the iphone 3gs is the ability to transfer pictures, audio, files, etc etc through bluetooth, and thats really about it, and even for that you can get an app if you jailbreak it. good luck

The 3GS has bluetooth, you just need to download an application jailbreaking it. its called iBluetooth
