Russ, you are looking at this entirely wrong...the signifigance of the PMH is not in releasing the the energy in the loop...

When you energized the U-bolt with the bar on top the PLASMA is trap within the loop, you have now a strong magnetic field around the whole assembly. When you disengage the bar on top, the magnetic field will collapse to a lower magnetic field and the plasma is release to nearby object because the magnetic field around magnet is plasma. Cool experiment..

Hey you're that Meyer fuel cell guy, did you give up on your fuel cell quest?

I'll give you a tip on the Meyer cell, all you do is hook your cell up to a frequency generator and perform a frequency scan between 0.05hz to 20,000hz then have a diode to ensure - & + don't anihilate each other and allow electrons to manifest within the cell upon collumbs break down (due to voltage pressure) of the tetrahedran structure of the water molecule.

Fascinating and surprisingly simple experiment. I watched both parts and was riveted. This demonstrates how mysterious the force of electromagnetism is. Why are people like Leedskalnin and even the more famous Tesla considered fringe scientists in academia?

It is almost like a small scale particle collider. Why does low breakage of the circuit create almost no burst of energy and a sudden break suddenly release a large burst? What is happening there on the scale of the very small?

My theory is that the coils go into a self oszillation mode ( back EMF) or so.

The faster pull of will cut this and will free the energy in it cuz the oszillation stops emidiately. If i am right a magnet near this should vibrate at a very high frequenz, but i think it is not mesurable.... but if someone finds a way to do it... we are the right guys! :-]

in other words...whats needed is the magnetic equivalent of a mosfet / transistor... in that a mosfet allows or doesnt allow current to flow.....we would need a device which allows or does not allow magnetic flux to flow.

i can only think of one way to do this perhaps..and that would be using a toroid in the magnetic circuit at right angles...pulsed so that it breaks the path of the flux in the U bolt... ill do a sketch and email you.

ive been aware of this for a while now, very interesting stuff.

look up a youtube user Crobb227, he shows a pmh, then he shows using a papewr clip on the one end of U bolt.. sticking to it....but on the other end of the U bolt....no magnetic attraction.....a magnetic monopole?

as to how to "use" this, problem comes with breaking the connection using physical force = work done..need to replace the "physical break"..with the same way that a transistor replaces an electrical switch
