These guys are really afraid of something and it isn't racism. It's possible that the more the public learns about the problems that stem from illegal immigration, the more they will oppose it. If you believe in climate change and that it is caused in some large measure by human activity, what sense can it possibly to take a poor person from Mexico where their carbon footprint is 3 tons a year to the US where it will become 21 tons a year.

Mexico, which generates at least 8m tons/ yr of hazardous waste, has no treatment/disposal policy. Most of it goes unreported & ends up in open-air pits or buried w/o the minimum safety procedures. Alarmed at threats to health & environment, activists fight attempts to set up toxic waste storage facilities in areas where local residents have not been consulted & adequate env'l impact studies have not been carried out.

Mexico's fed'l government is backing the incineration of toxic, dangerous & biological/infectious wastes as the most viable form of their disposal for industries & hospitals, according to results of the country's Environment Ministry (Semarnat) forum.

Their findings were that incineration would be the most practical form of disposal given the realities of Mexico's infrastructure limits in dealing with such materials.

LOL! Mexicans pollute more than Americans! They have smaller houses, live more people together, have fewer vehicles, with smaller engines & more passengers. They cook larger meals, don't eat out in fast food joints. The eat less beef (an environmentally hostile meat), they use biodegradable packaging (corn leaves, plantain leaves, gourds). Natural fertilizer, fewer pesticides, practice multi-crops (milpa). They enhance bio-diversity with their love of all sorts of different types of corn...
