  • It's great to hear that all the habs fans have so much respect for koivu, and it's completly understandable. One of the best playmakers ever to play in the NHL now being teamed up with one of the best scorers in the NHL. I'm proud to have this guy on the ducks!

Respect for all the habs fans! Go Ducks!

  • All The Best Saku Koivu Your Missed Here in Montreal <3

  • Saku´s a hockey god in my country. Just like Teemu. We always feel better when they´re on the ice! We´re a small nation, to have players like Saku gives us lots of pride. I understand Montreal also kinda likes the guy. We´re all proud to have Saku and Teemu to represent Finland. They always say yes too when asked!

  • great english

  • @reissumiesss they say that fins speak and understand english better then every one else outside of north america

  • No accent haha nice

  • @ThatMyProd they say that fins speak and understand english better then every one else outside of north america

  • This guy recovered from Cancer with the Canadiens. The Canadiens are in his blood. Come back home, Saku.

  • Koivu is a legend. Love having him playing in Ducks with Selänne :)

  • The Capitals beat the Ducks by a score of 5-1 on January 27, 2010

  • im a habs fan, and i think i speak for all habs fans when i say : I MISS U SAKU :(

  • @sweiland75 He's an A-list playmaking centreman that never had a proper compliment on his line. The best guy he ever played with was Mark Recchi and those were his early, injury-plagued years. Who else did he play with? Brian Savage, Latendresse, Zednik, Shayne Corson. Tanguay actually played well with Koivu but injuries kept Tanguay out for many games.

  • we should retire his number

  • I actually saw him on January 27 in DC against the CAPS

  • It was an nonor to watch him wear the CH. He might not have been the best, he might not have been the most physical. but every game he came aout and gave it his all, time and time again. His leadership, as well as his personality will always be missed in montreal

  • I miss Koivu (I live in Monreal), longest serving captain after Beliveau, #10 in points in Habs history and an inspiration to so many. I always thought he would retire but now I wish him the best of luck with his new team.

  • I miss Saku :( He'll always be a hab at heart.

  • man, he speaks very good english for being a finn... I love that guy :)

  • Saku is awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Ducks have both Koivu and Selanne ! You lucky bastards ! How can you loose ?

  • His name should be on the stanly cup ASAP. Even if he doesnt score one single goal all season this year

  • he already did score a goal

  • we will miss you saku koivu #11

  • Montreal misses Saku :(

  • The man wears his heart on his sleeve. I thank him for all the memories and all the hardships he over came. No matter what anyone says, he'll always be a Canadien and I hope he finds success with the Ducks and hope he finally gets his chance to hold up Lord Stanley's Mug.

  • u gonna enjoy koivu in your team ducks fan, great guy and even great player!
